Just that. What time do you all get up in the morning?

I get up at 6am and it's always a struggle as I seem to be a night owl

6.40. I make lunch the night before and go on mn for ten minutes before getting out bed to wake myself up.

Fancyacuppaluv · 29/01/2018 06:50

630, it still feels like nighttime Sad

StringandGlitter · 29/01/2018 06:51

On days I go in up at 6.10, it’s an hours commute and means I can leave at 4 and be back by 5 so at least get a bit of evening.

I’m a night owl too. Always tired early evening then get second wind at 10pm 😕

NancyDonahue · 29/01/2018 06:52

6.20. I struggle but it's because it's dark. I find it easier in Spring and Summer.

StealthPolarBear · 29/01/2018 06:52

It varies. At the moment just after six.

Happycow · 29/01/2018 06:53

No school run yet, but I'm up at 6am if I'm going to work and DO doing nursery drop off, I get a 'lie in' til 6.15am if I'm doing nursery drop off (to leave the house 7.35am and be at nursery for 8am). Only 1 DC tho!

Happycow · 29/01/2018 06:53

*DP

lalaloopyhead · 29/01/2018 06:54

6.25 - I make the lunches, have breakfast/drink coffee/go on MN until 7 latest. Quick shower and get ready, last minute stuff and out by 7.40.

I only have to get myself ready though, youngest dc is 10 and DH irons her uniform (and anything I need) while I am doing lunches.

FiveGoMadInDorset · 29/01/2018 06:54

Alarm goes off at 6.15, I haul myself out of bed at 6.30, have breakfast do lunch etc then wake DC's up at 7, out of dor at 7.25 with DD

Chrisinthemorning · 29/01/2018 06:55

DH gets up at 6.15 and makes tea. We are all awake by 6.30. I leave the house at 8.15 to do the school run on non work days and at 7.45 - 8 on Work days. DH leaves at 7.15.

Salene · 29/01/2018 06:56

5.45 as need to get myself showered and breakfast then get 1 and 3 year old up and fed and to nursery for 7.15 then catch my train to work , husband works away a lot so left to me to sort them out

LizardMonitor · 29/01/2018 06:57

Now!

Mari50 · 29/01/2018 06:57

My alarm is set for 6.20. But at the moment I’m still trying to persuade my body to get out of bed....

octonaught · 29/01/2018 06:58

Just having my tea. In shower in the next 5 minutes

Shadow1986 · 29/01/2018 06:58

Alarm 6.45, downstairs at 7. Cuppa and kids breakfast till 7.30 then upstairs to get ready. We leave at 8.30 and walk to school in about ten mins.

LittleCandle · 29/01/2018 06:59

6am, but I am not a morning person and hate it. I have loads of time to drink my coffee and get ready before I walk the dog. Really struggling this morning as I have a cold, have had since Friday and feel like death warmed up. However, work waits for no woman and at least it is only 5 hours today...

Xmasfairy86 · 29/01/2018 06:59

I need to leave in 15-20 mins. I’m still in bed 😂😂 my girls are still asleep 😂🙈

treeofhearts · 29/01/2018 07:00

6.00am. I hate it. Constantly tired and feel like it's the middle of the night.

WTFIsThisVirus · 29/01/2018 07:00

I work from home at the moment, but get up at half 6 with DS. I get him ready for nursery, then DP leaves with him at half 7.

Once I'm commuting again, my morning routine will go back to this, which im nearly dreading

5:00 wake up, exercise, breakfast, get dressed
6:30 wake up DS, get him ready for nursery
7:15 out the door, so I can get dropped off at the train station, and DS can get dropped off at nursery

LaceandChintz · 29/01/2018 07:00

6.20.
Up, cuppa, feed cat, wash, dress. Wake ds and dh at 7. I leave at 7.20. They sort themselves out!

booqueue · 29/01/2018 07:01

Think I might go to washing my hair night before and get 15 more mins in bed. Or walk faster to work giving me another 5 mins Grin I make lunch night before

JingsMahBucket · 29/01/2018 07:01

It is so hard in winter for me to get up. My alarm is set for 7:30sm but I don’t fully wake up until about 8:00 / 8:15.

I don’t have kids BTW and I work from home.

hidinginthenightgarden · 29/01/2018 07:01

My DD got me up at 5am today Angry.
If she didn't get up so early I could probably get up at half 6.

gamerwidow · 29/01/2018 07:01

6am on the days I work 630am if I’m doing the school run. I could get up later if I wasn’t so slow in the mornings.... I go to bed at 10 most days to accommodate the early starts.

LearnFromThePast · 29/01/2018 07:02

5.30 and it kills me as am not an early bird. I have to bed in bed for 10pm which doesn’t always give me much of an evening by the time I get home. I don’t drive so have to get two trains to work
