? Could you please be a bit more specific.

SparklyMagpie · 15/12/2017 14:23

Oh ffs!

Will all this crap about the royals ever end?!

SparklyMagpie · 15/12/2017 14:23

For the record,I have no idea what OP is on about

glitterbiscuits · 15/12/2017 14:23

Were you stood up by him OP?

Ofthread · 15/12/2017 14:24

Not until heads roll Sparkly

LizzieSiddal · 15/12/2017 14:24

Oh what’s he done and why are you so upset about it?

ItsYuleyme · 15/12/2017 14:24

Nope! Got me there!

Unreasonableunreasonableness · 15/12/2017 14:24

He usually presents a trophy but there is no mention that he actually committed for next year. And would you attend a sports match that you usually go to over attending a sibling's wedding. They have plenty of notice and I'm sure he'll help them find someone else.

PinkJeggings · 15/12/2017 14:24

Prince Harry and Meghan are getting married on May 19; the day of the FA Cup final.

I am not even a football fan and I could t care less about the FA cup. But prince William is the President of the FA and as such normally attends the final and presents the winners with the Cup.

AIBU to think the family should have respected this prior commitment?

OP posts:
Omgineedanamechange · 15/12/2017 14:24

Are you seriously suggesting William should go to a football match rather than his own brothers wedding?

Sirzy · 15/12/2017 14:26

Can you imagine the AIBU from Meghan Markle

“Aibu to think my future brother in law should miss the football on our wedding day”

Seniorcitizen1 · 15/12/2017 14:26

Numpty

StickThatInYourPipe · 15/12/2017 14:26

So you think they should change their wedding date because of a bloody football match?

Redcrayons · 15/12/2017 14:26

Oh yes, he's really not going to go to his only brothers wedding to hand a trophy out at a football match.

Omgineedanamechange · 15/12/2017 14:26

Ah, I see you are suggesting exactly that. Then you’re nuts op, HTH

OwlBeBack · 15/12/2017 14:26

What the actual fuck.

Who gives a toss? Of course he should go to the wedding.

TeenTimesTwo · 15/12/2017 14:27

YABU

Royal diaries get filled up ages in advance. Finding a date when none of them had prior commitments would be very difficult. I'm sure the overpaid footballers will manage somehow.

skippy67 · 15/12/2017 14:27

Yeah, you YABU. Can you imagine if someone posted on here that their brother, who they're really close to, is blowing out their wedding so they can go to the footy??

sparechange · 15/12/2017 14:27

Oh no, those poor multi-millionaire footballers having to make do with a pleb giving them a trophy

I bet it will completely ruin the whole competition and no one will pay any attention to it now Hmm

AuntLydia · 15/12/2017 14:27

So you don't even like football and don't care about the fa cup?! Why the hell are you 'not impressed' then?

LizzieSiddal · 15/12/2017 14:27

Hahahaha Xmas Grin

Can you imagine Megan’s thread on MN?

“AIBU to think my BIL should forgo a football match to be best man at our wedding?”

ghostyslovesheets · 15/12/2017 14:27

hahahaha oh dear OP you are a sort Grin

don't care about football
couldn;t give a shit about the FA cup

still getting cross and ranty about because - boredom? GF? Lack of anything important to worry about?
