Maybe he's mad keen on football, but just dislikes the team captain of the team he's betting to win. Grin

Or maybe he's secretly devastated that he had to give up watching the FA Cup for Harry's wedding. I can hear the phonecall now:
William: "Harry, mate, you've been dating Meghan for ages. Couldn't you both have made up your minds to get married a few weeks earlier than you did? Then we could have had this done and dusted by April. I have a clear couple of weeks then. Now, thanks to your procrastination, I'm having to miss the FA CUP FINAL. It's the highlight of my year, Harry. You know that!"

Harry: [inaudible]

" Yes, I know attending my only brother's wedding is supposed to be more important. I said I'd come, didn't I? I'm just saying, it would have been nice not to have to choose."

He played football at Eton.

I played netball at school. I don't like it, I just happened to be reasonably good at it.

Both he and Harry much prefer rugby actually.

PinkTiger

Rethorical question. Didn't you read the rest of my post? Grin

AIBU to think that people invest way too much time and emotion fixating on public figures and their daily lives that realistically have nothing to do with them?? I don't get this type of thinking at all.

Ginkypig · 18/12/2017 11:49

99.9% of people going to watching or involved in the game on that day couldn't give a shiny shit if he is there or not!

The test who do are well to put it politely are a bit like you they are slightly over invested in strangers who happen to have been given a status through being born to someone who also has been given status.

Ginkypig · 18/12/2017 11:50

The rest* no test Blush

As the wedding is on a Saturday, William and Kate won't be arguing about whose turn it is to do the school run.

Housewife2010 · 18/12/2017 13:52

Prince William is also President of Bafta but most year's he doesn't turn up. Why is football more important than supporting the British film industry?

BrokeAndBad · 18/12/2017 14:01

Lmfao. Really??!!

BarbaraofSevillle · 18/12/2017 14:10

Prince William is also president of the British Sub Aqua Club, but when it was all over the news that Kate was learning to scuba dive so they could dive together, she did PADI courses.

Hypocrites, the lot of them, I tell you.

Lweji · 18/12/2017 19:39

Considering the UK is a monarchy, Prince William is President of an awful lot of institutions. Ahem.
