Panic not ... DH says he will do it. For clarity the footy match not the wedding.

PinkJeggings · 15/12/2017 14:28

“Are you seriously suggesting William should go to a football match rather than his own brothers wedding?”

Not at all! I’m suggesting that that date should never have been on the table in the first place.

With power comes responsibilities!

😂😂😂

I've seen some barking mad threads on here recently but this one takes the Biscuit

Unreasonableunreasonableness · 15/12/2017 14:29

Basically Harry's wedding is on the day of the FA Cup Final. William is President of the Football Association and usually presents the trophy that day. Obviously he'll be missing it this year.

LizzieSiddal · 15/12/2017 14:29

Between all the senior members of the royal family, there will be someone with a commitment Every Single Day of the year.

If it was the Queen and the state opening of parliament, I may agree with you. William missing a football match, who cares??

AuntLydia · 15/12/2017 14:30

The fact that you give a shit about this, despite not liking football, is blowing my mind. Why? What the fuck?!

PinkJeggings · 15/12/2017 14:30

“So you don't even like football and don't care about the fa cup?! Why the hell are you 'not impressed' then?”

Because I’m not impressed with the idea that you can just sack off the most important day of (one of your) job(s). William should have said to Harry, “Sorry mate but don’t make it May 19th as that doesn’t work for me.”

Christmascardqueen · 15/12/2017 14:30

The wedding will be popular on tv as will the FA cup. Might be easier to change the cup date.

Alloftheboys · 15/12/2017 14:30

Are you for real? You said you don't even like footy?
I could understand if you were the president of the FA.

Why don't you have a nice little lie down under a blanket on the settee. Xmas Hmm

Osolea · 15/12/2017 14:31

They probably had prior engagements on all of the suitable potential wedding dates, maybe the football was chosen out as least important to miss.

I’m sure Prince William will be devastated to learn how unimpressed you are and promptly change his plans Hmm

His brother’s wedding is infinitely more important so YABU.

Travis1 · 15/12/2017 14:31

Xmas Biscuit fuck me talk about getting your knickers in a twist over nothing. Here OP have a ball Football

Redcrayons · 15/12/2017 14:31

Unless he's on the team sheet I can't see the dilemma.

Changebagsandgladrags · 15/12/2017 14:32

Well surely they could have the wedding in Windsor then hot foot it down the A40 and have the deception at Wembley? Nandos might give them a good deal.

Trinity66 · 15/12/2017 14:32

fgs Grin

stitchglitched · 15/12/2017 14:32

I've seen some drivel written about the royal wedding but this takes the biscuit.

MissionItsPossible · 15/12/2017 14:32

I'm jealous if this is one of the biggest worries in your life.

DonnyAndVladSittingInATree · 15/12/2017 14:32

Wow! People really do dig deep to find reasons to stick the boot into these people. Have you considered taking up a hobby OP?

PinkJeggings · 15/12/2017 14:32

The fact that this is making everyone laugh is making me chuckle now Grin

Seriously I would rather watch paint dry than watch football but it’s the principle! He’s letting the FA down and he’s their president! May 19th should never have been considered in the first place.

EvilDoctorBallerinaRoastDuck · 15/12/2017 14:33

You mean move the wedding date? I'd hope my brother would attend my wedding rather than present a trophy. Xmas Hmm

BatShite · 15/12/2017 14:33

Are you seriously suggesting William should go to a football match rather than his own brothers wedding?

Grin
Alloftheboys · 15/12/2017 14:33

Dear Big Willy,

I think you're being totes unreasonable about not being at the FA cup final to give the winners their nice shiny cup.

Please sort your priorities out.

Lots of love PinkJeggings
