Seriously, wtaf is this photo about? She's dressed up like a hawaiian barbie doll, and is holding those poor twins with such an air of detachment, it's actually freaky. I actually think she's gone mad. Sir Carter and Rumi ........... those kids are gonna love those names when they're in school Hmm think Beyonce has actually lost the plot??

I like Rumi (after the poet), but Sir Carter?!

Mind you, they'll be going to school with other children with names like Landslide and Windclapper, so they probably won't stand out too much.

OhDearToby · 14/07/2017 10:14

Is his name first name really Sir Carter so his full name is Sir Carter Carter?

MovingOnUpMovingOnOut · 14/07/2017 10:14

It's only a photo.

I'm not fond of the style but I hardly think casting aspersions on her mental health is on.

Calm down :)

Winelover93 · 14/07/2017 10:15

Who cares?

gingerbreadmam · 14/07/2017 10:16

i think the names are sir and rumi. surname carter. i like bey and jay but i dont know why the stupid photo. theyre only. month old and have been poorly. a normal photo rather than a shoot would have sufficed if they wanted to share them.

chowmeinchick · 14/07/2017 10:17

I don't think anyone will be laughing at their names at school when they realise the Parents are Beyoncé and Jay Z, to be honest, as hideous as they are. Their first daughter is called Blue Ivy.

Although I think there picture is a bit stupid, she had a similar photo done when she was pregnant so I think she's just trying to carry on with the 'theme'.

Branleuse · 14/07/2017 10:19

I love the picture

OfaFrenchmind2 · 14/07/2017 10:19

She looks like a fucking Kardashian. No elegance, a terrible feel of nouveau riche.
Oh well, that's her life, and she just had twins, why not?

OfaFrenchmind2 · 14/07/2017 10:20

And yes, your parents could be Beyonce and Jay Z, but Sir Carter is going to get some burns. Rumi is just normally stupid, so should fit right in whatever private school they sent them.

ConstanceCraving · 14/07/2017 10:21

Her stomach looks suspiciously flat for someone that has just given birth to twins.

As for the photo, I can only hope she's taking the piss.

IHaveCausedConfusionAndDelay · 14/07/2017 10:21

I think it's fabulously ott and very much in keeping with her (equally hilariously fabulous) pregnancy photos.

GoingSlightlyCrazy09 · 14/07/2017 10:24

I totally agree with the "nouveau riche" comment - no class whatsoever. I just think it's really really weird but that must be life in celeb land......... Grin

BattleaxeGalactica · 14/07/2017 10:25

Hmm. How long do we reckon before the 'spunked all the cash' stories start appearing?

greendale17 · 14/07/2017 10:28

Bizarre photo

silkybear · 14/07/2017 10:30

Where is her mum tum and san pads? I hate these celeb photos, it gives a false impression of what women are supposed to look like post natally. Not helpful.

nancy75 · 14/07/2017 10:31

I saw the photo this morning - its is fantastically weird. I would love to know the though process that goes into having a photo like that done...

I want funeral flowers - big ones, a brides veil, hmm maybe a silky bedspread to use as a frock, now what else have we got laying around.. oooh yes the babies - gimme them they can go in the pic...Grin

Tofutti · 14/07/2017 10:31

YABU to dismiss the name Rumi. It's a lovely Iranian name and the name of a poet loved throughout the world.

Just because the name is not Emma or Charlotte does not make it any less valid. Hmm

HorridHenryrule · 14/07/2017 10:32

She's a diva.

quencher · 14/07/2017 10:33

I love the photo and I would be disappointed if she did any thing less.

I love her extra-ness on everything and it makes her who she is. 😍 Grin

IHaveBrilloHair · 14/07/2017 10:33

The babies look oddly photoshopped onto herConfused

OuchBollocks · 14/07/2017 10:34

I would say her stomach is probably airbrushed to within an inch of her life constance. I know some people do have perfectly flat stomachs leaving the maternity ward - in fact I saw a woman who could have run for Britain's Next Top Model with a brand new baby in the supermarket yesterday - but Beyoncé strikes me as someone who has to work hard at staying slim, especially after twins and at age 35. Plus all the ridiculous diets she's done (cayenne pepper and lemon juice, mmm tasty and nutritious Hmm ) will be taking their toll on her metabolism.

Not sure why I bothered typing this out, I genuinely couldn't care less. I'm glad I'm not a sleb under sleb scrutiny, it's hard enough to please my own mum re my weight and DCs names never mind the whole world.

SuperBeagle · 14/07/2017 10:34

I just can't stand her.

Mummymummyme · 14/07/2017 10:35

This is a woman who allegedly applied to trademark the names shortly after their birth so really nothing shocks me. Trademarking your kids names and using them as props in photoshoots? I don't like to think it of people but it seems to me that these children are more of a publicity stunt than anything.

Newmum102 · 14/07/2017 10:36

I think she looks fabulous and wouldn't expect anything less from her. She hardly splashes her life across instagram etc like other 'celebs'. As others have said she's carrying on with the same theme she announced her pregnancy in.

Summerswallow · 14/07/2017 10:36

All the styling and stuff, fine, but I don't like the way the babies are held, they look uncomfortable and she's not looking at them. I would have thought one in each arm, or looking at them would have been more motherly, but I'm guessing motherly wasn't the vibe they were going for! It's weird, but I don't think it 'means' anything other than some people see their kids as props for photos (Beckhams at the palace, anyone?), she's not alone in celeb land for that.
