Seriously, wtaf is this photo about? She's dressed up like a hawaiian barbie doll, and is holding those poor twins with such an air of detachment, it's actually freaky. I actually think she's gone mad. Sir Carter and Rumi ........... those kids are gonna love those names when they're in school

The fact that there is no connection between mother and child and it clearly seems to be all about her, is actually really off-putting for me.

It's all very odd and that can't possibly be her stomach - it loooks like they've stuck a prosthetic flat tummy on.

She could still have done a shoot but a lovely natural one with lots of white voile and natural light...this is just so tacky.

what and be the same as countless other people who do it this way?

I might not like this style, but its her choice not yours

It's a ludicrous photo as were the pregnancy ones. It looks like a 6 year old dressed mummy up as a bride with whatever was in the dressing up box.

Imagine that wasn't Beyoncé in that picture and just some other girl, she would have been ripped to shreds. If Kim K did it, she woukd be pulled apart by celeb land.

Rumi I don't mind but Sir is just stupid. And for a woman supposedly all about female empowerment, she has ensured her daughter (daughters? Is Rumi a boy or a girl?) have to now refer to their brother with a name that more commonly denotes authority / privilege

I suppose in the middle ages she would have commissioned a well known artist like Rosselli to paint her picture for her! ( make me look biblical, my public need it)

i'm not expert, but i would say she is lying down in the picture

look at the way the babies are being held, her legs look odd, and it would explain her tummy looking a bit odd as well

It's easy to see them I need their celebrity personas, but there are people with diverse heritage behind them.

Is having twins not enough for her? It seems like she also needs to know the world is looking at and remembering her. It's so attention seeking and lacking any real emotion.

To be fair her career is based on attention seeking. It's all part of being a celeb. She makes huge amounts of money from photoshoots and the like. Fair play to her.

If you don't want to pose in similar photos then don't, if you don't want to look at similar photos then close the tab but if she wants to and others want to see them (they made me smile) then I don't see what the problem is.

Beyoncé is one of the highest-earning celebrities, if not the highest earning. She has earnings in excess of $100 million per year. She has taken some time out for the birth of her twins. The purpose of this photo is to keep her brand in the limelight while she is doing this.
