Seriously, wtaf is this photo about? She's dressed up like a hawaiian barbie doll, and is holding those poor twins with such an air of detachment, it's actually freaky. I actually think she's gone mad. Sir Carter and Rumi ........... those kids are gonna love those names when they're in school Hmm

She's a fat frumpy deluded dwarf...

I bet she still looks much better than you.

Isetan · 14/07/2017 11:24

It must be a very slow news day for anyone to get bent out of shape about a photo of a woman holding her twins. OP you need to get several grips, maybe a job lot from eBay would be more economical.

hazeydays14 · 14/07/2017 11:25

They were hardly going to be called John and Hannah after her first born was Blue Ivy.

Yes the picture is over the top but anything she had done would have been massively criticised so why not go massively extravagant. Your average Joe has newborn shoots with the baby dressed up in ridiculous tutus or sleeping in a plant pot, Bey's gotta top it somehow Grin

You can't tell anything about her stomach from this picture really with the shadow and material draped round it. You certainly can't deduce anything about her parenting skills.

No one has criticised Jay-Z for his part in this. Just another example of the criticisms 'famous' women face.

Post of the day Grin

flimflaminurjams · 14/07/2017 11:27

I don't think she has lost the plot.

She always has to do some OTT photo of her and kids to get massive media attention. A photo of the kids in the pram is not going to get massive coverage is it?

Nearly10to9 I think you are right. Sky colour behind her head is different to elsewhere. Plus cleverly cropped feet.

Does annoy me though. When you look at some of the comments on these pics "We are not worthy" was one. WTF?!

PointlessUsername · 14/07/2017 11:29

I think it is a nice, harmless photo.

iloveeverykindofcat · 14/07/2017 11:31

Ehhh I think she knows exactly what she's doing. She's a businesswoman.

Sir is pretty bad though Grin. My immediate association is Fifty Shades of Grey. Ewww....

NannyOggsKnickers · 14/07/2017 11:33

The trade mark application aren't to exploit their children but to protect them. It means they have the rights over the use of their children's names on merchandise. If you read the details they've focused in things like baby clothes, ribbons and bags. This means that others can't use their children's names to sell merchandise. I doubt it is because they want to flog their own line of Rumi Carter baby grows- this didn't happen with Blue Ivy.

Nearly10to9 · 14/07/2017 11:33

wish i was a fat frumpy deluded dwarf if thats what they look like???

Nearly10to9 · 14/07/2017 11:36

just zoomed in to see the edging, look at the edging - well dodgy

shes kind of 'leaning' over as well

OhOurBilly · 14/07/2017 11:36

It's over the top but meh, she's allowed!

It's quite removed from your "usual" newborn photographs. By which I mean, in my post birth/new baby pictures I look like I'm staring at the 8th wonder of the world adoringly whilst simletaneously appear like I've been run over by a bus a couple of times with patches of baby sick dotted about.

We had newborn ds star as baby Jesus in the groundbreaking production of St Mary's junior church nativity so I've no room to talk

WingMirrorSpider · 14/07/2017 11:36

The BBC headline says they're both boys. I thought they were b/g twins like every other celebrity

Whodoesthis17 · 14/07/2017 11:38

Anyone else think her face says this is my lunch if you touch it I will rip your face off...

quencher · 14/07/2017 11:39

Nearly10to9 I think you are right. Sky colour behind her head is different to elsewhere. Plus cleverly cropped feet. The blue blow is water. (Sea, ocean, I don't know) and the top is the sky.

anchor9 · 14/07/2017 11:45

MYOB Hmm

iloveeverykindofcat · 14/07/2017 11:47

Do you ever wonder if maybe Saint, Sir, Lawnmower, etc are just for the press and the kids actually have normal names IRL?

HellonHeels · 14/07/2017 11:49

I think it's it's a fun photo, not taking things too seriously. I don't really have any view on Beyonce but can't understand the vitriol and tearing to shreds from some posters on this thread.

provider5sectorzz9 · 14/07/2017 11:51

Myob?
Seriously??
A celeb who's whole raison d'etre is about being seen, being noticed, promoting her brand and you think myob?
Could you even miss the point by a wider margin🙄

ConstanceCraving · 14/07/2017 11:55

She annoys me FAR more than Victoria Beckham ever will.

HeyRoly · 14/07/2017 11:55

I think these OTT pregnancy/newborn shoots are primarily to compensate for all those rumours that she faked her pregnancy and used a surrogate for Blue Ivy which I think is totally and utterly true

hazeydays14 · 14/07/2017 11:56

iloveeverykindofcat Yes I think so too. I wonder if they do it so that their real names give them some anonymity (as far as you can with having some of the most famous current music artists as your parents)

BraveBear · 14/07/2017 11:57

She's made it into MJ "away with the fairies" territory now I think. It's a very rare mega star who can keep their feet on the ground.

Rumi is a nice name - whether boy or girl, but poor little "Sir" has been saddled with the shitest name I've heard in ages.

MargeryFenworthy · 14/07/2017 11:58

Crass, tasteless and tacky. But then I expect no better from her. She is a poor role model for black girls and women.

DownWithThisSortaThing · 14/07/2017 12:04

Who cares? I can't get worked up about the photo or the names. She has one month old baby twin boys, all appear healthy, good for her.

She's Beyoncé. She can get away with weird names and OTT photographs. She announced her babies birth the way she wanted to, via her own social media account, I actually prefer it that she's not a celeb who sells a story every time she sneezes to Hello magazine.

eyebrowsonfleek · 14/07/2017 12:07

Sir Carter will be at school with people with names like Apple Martin (Paltrow?) , Saint West and North West so it's not that weird.

As for baby photo shoots- everybody is curious about the babies and Beyoncé and I think she's too big a star to be in Hello. I wouldn't pick the outfit but it's obviously supposed to match the pregnancy photo shoot and white would be weird as it gives a wedding-vibe.
