to ask what your other halves are doing?

Especially to the working mums with children under 10 or under 5.
Just interested to know what percentage are watching the children vs being holed up in their man-caves.

When the children were younger he did everything when he came home

He still does a lot of chores i am both lucky and lazy

Sanding back the polyfilla in the holes on ds1's wall right now! I'm in charge of dinner, refereeing the strange rugby hybrid game the Dcs have devised and drinking wine.

Well I'm in a different time zone so it's still morning here but if your question is what will my DH be doing at 6pm my time, either eating dinner with the kids or possibly messing around in the pool with them.

If you need help with the kids go an ask for it.

He's getting dinner for the kids. I am on the sofa with the kids as I am knackered after work. He looks after the kids all day so I should really give him a break.

He's out for work drinks tonight. Although normally he'd be back by now as he leaves for work just after 6am so that he can get back in time to help with kids bath and bedtime.

He's on the sofa with the kids while I do a quick freezer dinner. Then I'm off out for the evening so he'll be in charge of bed time.

My husband works abroad for weeks at a time. He's currently sleeping as he is 5hours ahead. We miss him Sad

At the bar getting another beer (taken DS with him to 'help daddy' so I'm getting five minutes peace. We both finished a bit early today so picked DS up and went out for a drink, and now we're staying for dinner.

Watching TV with DS. He's had him all day. They've been to play group, ran errands. I'm cooking tea.

He's just finished bathing DD and will then be cooking us a lovely steak for dinner. I've got my feet up watching pointless (I have just dashed around and tidied up DDs path of destruction though!)

He's lying on the sofa next to me. He's cleaned the house from top to bottom with me earlier but when my mates come round for Gin later and he's put the little one to bed he'll slink off to his man cave to play whatever monster/alien game he likes!

Since typing he's gone up to run little dds bath.
