Especially to the working mums with children under 10 or under 5.
Just interested to know what percentage are watching the children vs being holed up in their man-caves.

ahfuckit · 17/02/2017 18:01

Recovering from having an op yesterday.

Cuppaand2biscuits · 17/02/2017 18:01

Mines still at work, very rarely home before 6 30pm/7pm. By which time my kids are fed, bathed and either ready for bed or in bed already.

Imaystillbedrunk · 17/02/2017 18:01

Driving home for work and stopping to pick up bits for dinner on the way.

Still at work.

DianaMemorialJam · 17/02/2017 18:01

Pub!

weebarra · 17/02/2017 18:02

Still at work. I've had the week off to look after the DCs as they are on holiday.

Evilstepmum01 · 17/02/2017 18:02

He finished work at 5, so he goes straight to next town to pick up his daughter for the weekend. We have her every weekend, so normal Friday night! He brings pizzas back and we have a lazy evening while kids play!

Plunkette · 17/02/2017 18:03

Getnaked Flowers and Cake for you.

Snifftest · 17/02/2017 18:03

driving home from work. When he gets here he'll cook dinner whilst I put poorly DS to bed.

Oysterbabe · 17/02/2017 18:03

Still at work. I'm cooking a moussaka while trying to keep toddler from trashing the place.

Pancakeflipper · 17/02/2017 18:03

On a delayed train after a plane back to the UK. Then a car journey and then he'll be home for the weekend. Though he'll fall asleep as soon as he sits on the sofa.

Somehowsomewhere · 17/02/2017 18:03

Just got in from work, he's playing with the DD's while I MN

McDougal · 17/02/2017 18:05

He's currently bathing DD while I'm browsing MN Grin

MyBreadIsEggy · 17/02/2017 18:05

Same as Getnakedorgohome.
He's deployed. So I'm on my Todd with two DC's under 2.
He's probably sleeping right now Sad

Getnakedorgohome · 17/02/2017 18:06

Thank you Plunkette - I could do with some Cake !

FreedomMummy · 17/02/2017 18:06

Sat on the other sofa on his iPad while cuddling youngest DC. I'm on MN while cuddling eldest DC. CBeebies is on tv. We are having a lazy start to half term.

GinIsIn · 17/02/2017 18:06

Upstairs starting work in his office as he took the afternoon off to help my DM move house.

Katkin14 · 17/02/2017 18:06

Watching TV with DS. He's had him all day. They've been to play group, ran errands. I'm cooking tea.

FreeButtonBee · 17/02/2017 18:07

He's looking after 2 sick children and one healthy one. I am in bed with same lurgy. I did most of today and he came home early to help this afternoon and shooed me off to have a rest.

ivechangedmyname123 · 17/02/2017 18:07

Just gone to work...I'll wait up for him whilst finishing reports for work and a bottle of Rose 🍷

Yellowbird54321 · 17/02/2017 18:07

What an odd post.

OP this may come as a shock but you should know that some people even 'working mums' don't have 'other halves' and some have 'other halves' who are not actually men! And brace yourself some 'other halves' may be doing something other than watching the (under 10 or 5 year old) children or holing up in their man caves

It's a lot to take in, I know. Confused

Getnakedorgohome · 17/02/2017 18:07

Flowers Eggy - it gets easier when they're a bit bigger and respond better to threats! I found sleep envy the worst bit in the early days...

d270r0 · 17/02/2017 18:08

Sat on the sofa watching car games on youtube. I'm on mumsnet too, having just cleaned kitchen from dinner. To be fair- he cooked dinner. Kids are quite happy drawing at table.
