Just been announced that Michael Gove is not going to endorse Johnson and is going to run as leader himself.

I reckon Boris is going to be right pissed off.

Who would you chose to be leader?

Kermit the frog

GreatFuckability · 30/06/2016 09:11

out of Boris and Gove? thats like asking me to choose between AIDS and syphilis.

CaptainBrickbeard · 30/06/2016 09:11

Well, neither of them for a start!

Normandy144 · 30/06/2016 09:12

You couldn't make up this shit!!!! Boris is going to flip, I bet he's calling him now to say 'but we agreed mate, we agreed'.

originalmavis · 30/06/2016 09:13

Can we have a whip round and try to get Cameron to stay? I'm not a fan, but seriously, this isn't really much of a choice 'do you want vomit or shit on your chips?'.

LadyAntonella · 30/06/2016 09:14

Grin YY greatfuckability. If I was a Tory, (which I am not), off the top of my head and without knowing what their campaigns are going to be like, I would probably choose Theresa May. She's less offensive than the other front runners.

expatinscotland · 30/06/2016 09:16

My Syrian hamster, Chris. He's a much better person than either of those gits, even though he's a rodent.

LurkingHusband · 30/06/2016 09:16

Theresa May. She's less offensive than the other front runners.

She is a nasty, lying very dangerous piece of work. I don't want her anywhere near my human rights.

AdrenalineFudge · 30/06/2016 09:17

Can you imagine Sarah Vine at number 10?
Perish the thought!

thrillhouse · 30/06/2016 09:17

Theresa May is no less offensive than any of the others.

They're all horrendous. I don't know how you could possibly start to choose between them.

CaptainBrickbeard · 30/06/2016 09:18

In actual fact, I think Gove is worse but they're both obviously dreadful. I almost hope Gove wins it because he will have less popularity with the general public so if there is a snap election, he will be more likely to lose it than Johnson - I think. But this is truly a world through the looking glass when I feel upset that Cameron has resigned and I want Michael Gove to win. Yikes. It just reinforces how the two of them didn't give a fuck about Brexit, it has been nothing but a platform to power for them both.

waitingforsomething · 30/06/2016 09:18

This is the worst possible news. I am overseas at the moment due back next Feb. If Gove is the PM I might stay put!!! Almost considering joining the Tory party temporarily to vote for Theresa

Lilaclily · 30/06/2016 09:18

Agree with Lurking

I'd rather have that guy who announced last night , the bearded one who said something about a scrum ?!

IpanemaChica · 30/06/2016 09:19

This is good news if like me you despise Boris. He's going to implode! Gove is such a worm.

Really hope Theresa gets the job!

peachpudding · 30/06/2016 09:21

May or Gove, either would make a great PM. Boris gets his just deserts for stabbing Dave in the back.

GiddyOnZackHunt · 30/06/2016 09:21

Stephen Crabb? If the quote doing the rounds on fb about him believing homosexuality can be cured, then he's another horror.

MissHooliesCardigan · 30/06/2016 09:21

It's a bit like choosing between Peter Sutcliffe and Fred West. I'm going to ask if my cat can stand. He'd do a better job than either of those psychopaths.

To think that Boris is going to be p****d?
ChipStix · 30/06/2016 09:23

It's like 'I want to do it it's my turn!' 'No, it's my turn!' 'My turn!' 'My turn!'

Bunch of self serving pricks.

I'd be pinning my hopes on a general election if there was anyone actually worth voting for.

ChipStix · 30/06/2016 09:24

Your cat looks infinitely more electable

MrsBertBibby · 30/06/2016 09:26

What's the evidence of May lying?

We all know Johnson lies without blushing, but May?

I am looking forward to seeing all these unspeakable people tearing chunks outbof each other. If only the PLP would stop blocking the view.

NannyMarmalade · 30/06/2016 09:26

So Sarah (MrsG) Vine's email wasn't accidental then?
link here
PS she's a Daily Heil columnist.

sashangel · 30/06/2016 09:27

So far the ones to put their hats in the ring are (not sure if I have missed anyone)
Crabbs
May
Gove
Johnson
Leadsom

Never heard of crabb or Leadsom until a few days ago.

Waiting for Jeremy Hunt to put his name in the ring and I will laugh my tits off Grin

LadyAntonella · 30/06/2016 09:28

I think k Jeremy Cubt has said he's thinking of running! Or maybe that was a horrible dream...

LadyAntonella · 30/06/2016 09:28

Argh Jeremy Cunt not Cubt!

Breadandruses · 30/06/2016 09:29

Pick a turd, any turd, stick a Bullingdon tie on it and hey presto! you've got yourself a new tory leader
