Just been announced that Michael Gove is not going to endorse Johnson and is going to run as leader himself.

I reckon Boris is going to be right pissed off.

Who would you chose to be leader?

Nanny why do you think we need a general election?

Because the current parliament was constituted before it was known the UK was going to negotiate Brexit.

Or did you buy a house before you knew it was going to be a bungalow and have fewer rooms that you thought you were paying for ?

peachpudding · 30/06/2016 09:44

Tories are giving a masterclass in how to elect a strong leader.

Labour have their noses pressed against the window drooling in jealously.

bakeoffcake · 30/06/2016 09:47

Nicky Morgan can hardly string two words together. Was it on question time that she was like a rabbit caught in the headlights?

And the whole "every school to become an academy" debarcle, not to mention her voting against gay marriage. She really is an idiot.

You're funny, peach

derxa · 30/06/2016 09:49

I love Gove and he is very liberal in many ways Shock He tried to take education back to the 1950s.

OhStacey · 30/06/2016 09:49

Watching Theresa May speech and its impressive

OhtoblazeswithElvira · 30/06/2016 09:49

Come back, Nick...
I was thinking just that Mimsy Shock

Didn't he use to negotiate trade agreements with the EU before getting into politics?!

MissHooliesCardigan · 30/06/2016 09:52

Lurking My cat is actually a refugee from next door. He decided the conditions were better here and moved in.

EDisFunny · 30/06/2016 09:54

I am not a Tory supporter but I would love for Jeremy Hunt to run as well... I just want newscasters to have even more opportunities to get his name wrong.

LadyAntonella · 30/06/2016 09:54

Ooooooh hoolies, an economic migrant cat - Faraga Cat will go spare!

LadyAntonella · 30/06/2016 09:54

Farage* autocorrect is not my friend today.

flamingnoravera · 30/06/2016 09:56

Much as I detest Theresa May, it is not acceptable for anyone to suggest that a decision to have a child adopted is anything other than a decision for her and her alone. It is hideous to suggest that this is information we should use to perceive her as a bad person. You should be ashamed howtorebuold.

Nannawifeofbaldr · 30/06/2016 09:56

Perhaps the Tories should force Boris to be PM, on a "you broke it, you buy it" basis...

ipsogenix · 30/06/2016 09:57

We need to bring back Spitting Image, except that they wouldn't need to make caricatures, because most of these people already are caricatures. It's just staggering.

Quick! Everybody move to Scotland!

HighDataUsage · 30/06/2016 09:57

Is there a petition going round for a general election similar to the one calling for a second referendum? If so, I'll sign it.

howtorebuild · 30/06/2016 09:58

You are the only one who said it made her a bad person.

evilcherub · 30/06/2016 09:59

I like Gove and would vote for him over Boris anyday.

Didyoumeantobesorude1 · 30/06/2016 09:59

The comments on here are brilliant! "Like choosing between Aids and syphilis" "Do you want vomit or shit on your chips?" "Like choosing between Fred West and Peter Sutcliffe" "Like the Most Attractive Cockroach competion". Grin Grin Grin
Love you, Mumsnet.
I wish the whole lot of them would implode.

ipsogenix · 30/06/2016 09:59

Does anybody think back to this article? Things are all getting very weird now.

Not to me derxa, he just stopped the dumbing down that labour brought in. Failed an exam? Don't worry just keep sitting it until you pass!!

flamingnoravera · 30/06/2016 10:02

Why would you offer this information rebuild? What did you want to achieve?

SouthWesterlyWinds · 30/06/2016 10:02

Teresa May is a twat. She says she knows the ordinary person. That's only because she's read our emails and browser history
