Who buys this shit?

Seriously it couldn't be more awful if it tried....

Who needs an ornamental wishing well with working winch? Or a hands free clip to hold your towel up after a shower?

AIBU to think this is hideous?

House Of Bath, to name and shame.

The fashions are interesting...

Given what I look like naked the nightdress might be a blessed release for DH....

Sparklingbrook · 03/04/2016 18:09

Ooh I love a House of Bath leaflet. All the crapola you never knew you needed. Bit like Betterware but trying to be posh.

Why the fuck would you spend 8 notes on a see through plastic clip to keep your towel up?

Whyyyyyyy?

Now I know where my mother gets her armour-plated nighties!

EnglishFern · 03/04/2016 18:12

Interesting how "old fashioned and shite" is being rebranded as "romantic nostalgia "

Fucks sake

Sparkling

For Reginald, who likes John Wayne. Tell you a bit about their target market...

Sparklingbrook · 03/04/2016 18:14

I can see Reginald's face as he peels the wrapping paper away.....

EnglishFern · 03/04/2016 18:15

They also keep calling stuff "duck egg" even though it's plainly blue because it sounds posher

15 quid for a full length satin nightdress.

Gives your husband 250 volts every time he comes near you...

It's obviously aimed at the older generation.

EnglishFern · 03/04/2016 18:19

The over 85s maybe.

My parents are late 60s and wouldn't touch this stuff with a barge pole.

They have a Hetty-the-hoover mug!! Brilliant!

YourLeftElbow · 03/04/2016 18:21

I love that pink candlewick-style bedspread Blush

EnglishFern · 03/04/2016 18:21

I love this.

Says its for whisking away "tenacious" pubes.

And that it fits snugly into your handbag.

When does it think you're going to sort your bikini line? On the train into work? In the pub toilets on a Friday night?

to think what the fuck??

I love those flimsy little catalogues! My siblings and I enjoy reading them out to each other we need to get out more

I'll never forget one for a folding table - "you can NEVER have too many tables!" Hmm

NettleTea · 03/04/2016 18:27

I misread this as 'piss on it' - quite apt given its usage

YABVU - these are fantastic!! I so need a Bob Marley lap trap (apart from the naff "Presented to . . . " thing) Oh and the £22 cost.

coveredinhopeandvaseline · 03/04/2016 18:29

I need me a Daniel O'Donnell lap tray

notquitegrownup2 · 03/04/2016 18:31

Or one of these! Grin

How have I never had one of these catalogues before? Hours of fun!
