Oh I'm sorry but I think this has gone a bit far now
themotherinlaw you sound lovely and supportive and that's wonderful. You have a lovely family and beautiful granddaughters and I am sure you enjoy every minute of them.
I am sorry if any of the comments on this thread upset your daughter in law or yourself, I agree some have been below the belt, but for the most part been well measured and reasonable. In fact the OP was rather tongue in cheek. Unlike I am afraid, the comments directed at people on here on Mrs Meldrums social media pages.
I have said before that I did not particulary enjoy Mrs Meldrums style of blogging, it's not for me and I shouldn't have to justify it any more than Mrs Meldrum should justify her blog. I have said, as have others that Mrs Meldrum seems very nice and wished her the best. I mean that sincerely.
I have to say that I find your comment that "life isn't easy for some I can understand the animosity" incredibly patronising (and I am sure you didn't mean it to come across like that)
Please do not assume that simply because some people do not enjoy Mrs Meldrums style of blog that they are automatically 'jealous' of her life. I can assure you that isn't the case. For me? well I am incredibly happy with my life, I am fortunate and grateful for it every single day.I find the assumption that disagreeing equals jealousy rather bizarre.
I hope this all blows over now, as I am afraid it looks like a bunch or Mrs Meldrums friends and family joined mumsnet just to defend her which seems completley bonkers! I am sure it isn't true but as a blogger I'm sure she wouldn't want that!
I wish you and your family and all Mr Meldrums fans/ followers a very merry Christmas too and all the best for 2016.
