Has anyone watched this?

basically it goes - Morning! here's some BASSSETT'S MULTI VITAMINS.... look how my children never squabble. They play nicely and share with each other and other kids. They don't smoosh chocolate cake all over their pretty dresses. We all go for wholesome walks by the river without getting a spot of mud on us. And look, they go to bed without a fuss too (after arriving home at approximately 7.02pm Grin)

Now, who recognises that as a typical day with two under fours???

I thought your joke was hilarious, OP.
As to the turn this thread's taken:
HaHaHa.
That is all.

00100001 · 08/12/2015 10:08

Once again lights you fail to point out which bit of my post would cause a woman to cry.

At what point did I say anything nasty about the actual blogger? Or anything that could conceivably make a person cry??

Seriously, I'm very confused as to what part brings a person to tears.

Was it the hit where I said there's no squabbling?? Confused

It was it the 7.02 joke?

Just had a look thanks to this thread! I see what ninared means about staging the "messy" house, etc. She is brilliant at tidying up Smile

I don't see the point of watching strangers telling you about their day but good luck to her if she can make a living from it.

LittlestLightOnTheTree · 08/12/2015 10:11

What 7.02 'joke'?

I don't know which part of this thread upset her, but it has! Go you!

00100001 · 08/12/2015 10:19

lights well, I'm not taking any responsibility for the woman crying then.

I said nothing offensive about her. I didn't attack her or make personal comments (unlike some people defending her) So, stop trying to make me feel bad when I've done nothing wrong.

and my joke was funny :p

So if this thread isn't about bashing Mrs Meldrum but all about the advert - it's hardly breaking news that advertisers use an unrealistic portrayal of family life to try and persuade consumers to buy their product!

And no, I don't know Mrs Meldrum - I'd never heard of her until this thread. And I'm not a new poster either.

BuffyTheSpikeLayer · 08/12/2015 10:35

Well this thread took an interesting turn.

The cynical side of me finds it interesting that no one had posted on this thread since the 25th of November and then all of a sudden has several new members posting at the same time in defence of mrs meldrums vlogs/blogs. Hmm

The OP simply said she didn't find that particular video realistic,! I said she seemed like a nice person but that for me her videos came across as a bit un relatable. Thats just my opinion others may, and seemingly do love them.

Mrs Meldrum has chosen to put herself and her family in the public eye through many different media outlets blogs/twitter/facebook/ youtube etc. When you do this you surely accept that not everyone will agree with you or like what you have to say all the time? You'd need a thick skin to put yourself out there I think which is why its not for everyone..

For people to come on here and accuse people of being jealous simply because they have daid they didn't enjoy them etc is pretty ridiculous.

Good luck to her she seems nkce enough as I said, I just find I don't really enjpy her particular style of blofgging thats all.
Nothing personal.

MrsS14 · 08/12/2015 10:43

Mrs Meldrum's videos show a better reflection that some other bloggers. A certain blogger portrays her life to be perfect. 2 perfect girls + now pregnant with a boy

ilovetoski · 08/12/2015 11:09

Well is seems you have all got a mention on Mrs Medlrums latest blog on youtube, she has been doing a daily blog for Xmas and yesterdays was all about this thread !! She has now done a warts and all blog to show her less than perfect life ! A day in the life uncut !!

Ps. Attacking her husbands looks is well below the belt !

Deedeedee16 · 08/12/2015 11:11

So my post got deleted hmmm who decided what is allowed and what's not!! Still think you are all bitter and jealous :-)

00100001 · 08/12/2015 11:14

ohhh, I know what's happened here!

Mrs Meldrum made a post about this thread, and now here followers are coming over here to defend her. It all makes sense now, that's why it all started up again 12 days after the last post!

OP posts:
BuffyTheSpikeLayer · 08/12/2015 11:17

ilovetoski Thanks for posting to let us know but im genuinely unsure what you are trying to achieve with that information.
I personally won't be watching but as I've said before good luck to her.

LittlestLightOnTheTree · 08/12/2015 11:22

12 days.... Hardly a zombie thread is it!? Hmm

Plenty of those get resurrected daily

00100001 · 08/12/2015 11:28

12 days in AIBU is a long time :)

12 days ago from today was the 26th November, I just checked, that's 15 pages of threads ago. THere's 50 threads on each page - that's 750 threads!

BuffyTheSpikeLayer · 08/12/2015 11:33

Mrs Meldrum said in her vlog that she had googled her name and thats what had lead her to this thread, , hardly a zombie thread !
Guess the lesson is "Never google yourself"

Where does she say she is heartbroken, didn't see that ?

My take is that she has turned the negative Vitamins vlog around and made a funny, my life is not perfect Vlog, she certainly didn't come across as heartbroken.

Whoa whoa whoa!

This has all gone a bit tits up.

Def agree you should have put lighthearted in the thread title binary. Wink

In case anyone missed it, in my particular case I was taking the piss out of MYSELF fgs.

Do we need to start putting or or after everything we post just to spell it out?

For what it's worth I quite like Mrs Meldrum and came on here after seeing her vlog this am so wasn't suprised to see it resurrected.

I have to say that if this is the thread that has caused her so much upset maybe she should rethink her career choice or just step away from Google?
