basically it goes - Morning! here's some BASSSETT'S MULTI VITAMINS.... look how my children never squabble. They play nicely and share with each other and other kids. They don't smoosh chocolate cake all over their pretty dresses. We all go for wholesome walks by the river without getting a spot of mud on us. And look, they go to bed without a fuss too (after arriving home at approximately 7.02pm )

Now, who recognises that as a typical day with two under fours???

You know I wondered if I was the only one thinking that!

Looking at the videos on her site - which I'm sure are heavily edited - the kids seem perfectly behaved, the husband is great, house lovely and tidied up oh so quickly, has time to go out until 3 am with friends then have a lovely relaxing day, brilliant and helpful parents other family and friends....

Hmmm must invest in some MULTI VITAMINS

And yep, what a 'crazy little family' she has. Two smiley, perfectly behaved, clean, beautifully dressed little girls who don't say boo to a goose.

Maybe the bit they don't show us is the reason they need the MULTI VITAMINS, is because the only food they had all day was chocolate cake? We don't see them refusing their broccoli and peas???

I've followed Rebecca and her family on YouTube for some time. It's NOT all perfection in her life.... Bassett sponsored ad shows what Bassett want you to see!

Rebecca and Lee show themselves as they are In Other videos. But she's naturally a upbeat ( and funny) person who likes tidyness and order.... So what? Some of us are like that

I find her very likeable. Her DH works offshore a fair bit so she's on her own with the girls a lot. She's often tearful,spotty and her house is a tip! Just like many of us I guess

The littlest one always seems to have very long naps so things can get done.

They also manage to squeeze in breakfast, a trip to nursery and back, a play in the park, coffee, shopping and a long country walk all before I've got out of my pyjamas.

Saying that I do take it all with a pinch of salt. It is her job I suppose and noone would want to watch a video of me shouting at the kids whilst banging my head on the washing machine with egg on my jumper.

And yes, she is likeable which is why I keep
watching.

Off to buy some BASSETTS. Those kids need Xmas presents

I couldnt give two shites, shiny or otherwise about people's family life and the mind boggles why people want to watch such inane material.

Her latest videoc....called snovember, starts with her tired,makeup less, overslept and late for nursery. A teething baby. Very normal. She then goes on to worry about her DH facing redundancy. Her life isn't perfect at all

And florrie is taking longer naps as she's up in the night with her teething. Don't all babies teethe and nap then?

missfit you talk like she is a real friend who you know so well? It's just a random on the Internet. So her life is great or stressed at times who really cares? Don't most people have enough going on in real life to worry about watching 40 min videos of an other family?

But I agree Sharon, I don't quite get why people watch these videos in the first place.

Why do you follow this family on youtube MissFitt? What do you get out of watching another family have breakfast, go for a walk in the park, play in the playhouse? All perfectly coiffed and pristinely dressed, I mean it's not exactly reality tv is it.

However I might pay good money to watch Righty shouting at her kids whilst banging her head on the washing machine with egg on her jumper. That would make me feel loads better about the pile of crap on the living room floor, kid's pyjamas hanging from door handles, mountain of dirty dishes from last night's dinner and breakfast facing me this morning post school run chaos

It's just vlogging...why do I watch it? Why not, it's not dissimilar to reading the drivel on mumsnet. In fact, I started to watch more vlogs when MN went down recently. Forums get a bit tired and dull.

But if slagging off someone makes you all feel better then go for it!!

I watched this I thought it was just me who found it rather unrealistic!

I watched a couple of her other videos on youtube and I just found them all the same as in "here is my spotless house, perfectly behaved children, immaculate hair and make up, here's what I bought today" I just found it rather hard to identify with really.
Good luck to her though she seemed nice enough.
