I would love:

  1. a pair of dungarees
  2. a baby blue velour tracksuit

but I feel too contrained by society and my arse (which is now decending down the back of my legs).

How about you?

God I'm 49 and have a jumpsuit!

MaryBerrysLostCherry · 18/04/2015 20:05

I'm having a tutu. Leather jacket, ankle boots. Just need a top...

JigsawsAreAllLittlePieces · 18/04/2015 20:33

Dungarees.
Poncho.
50's style dress.
Waterfall cardigan. I bought one and it looked like I had buttoned it wrong.
Pencil skirt.
Skinny jeans.

I have an arse with its own postcode so most of the above look wrong.
I need to be able to float around in some vintage tea dress with a scarf in the right place "just so" and not look like I'm dressing up in my grandma's clothes that she's giving to the charity shop.

DamselNotInHerDress · 18/04/2015 20:41

noddy I bet you look amazing in them!
The ones I've seen I can imagine wearing with killer heels and I'd feel a bit out of place in my local wetherspoons Grin

A cape. I really want a cape. I had a brilliant black cape with green glitter that I wore at a Halloween do. I wanted to wear it just for every day. Also a Severus Snape full length black cloak. I want to swish about in my cloak.

TooOldForGlitter · 18/04/2015 20:54

Tutu lovers, just get one! I've a black one with pink visible underskirting IYSWIM. I wear it with stiletto heels and a fitted v neck wrap-over top. I'm fat (size 18) and I get complimented every time I wear it.

piggychops · 18/04/2015 21:20

I would love a made to measure tweed jacket. Something which would

piggychops · 18/04/2015 21:20

Be unique to me.

scandip · 18/04/2015 21:25

I usedtowear ponchos about10years back when they had a bitof a resurgence. I worked in a boozer and when I wore my poncho on my way intowork they nicknamed me Clint Eastwood!

H and M had tutus kind of attached to a vest, a kind of dress basically, last year. I can't find mine from then so am hoping they'll have some again this year or something similar. I know h and m is a bit crap but I'm poor!

Let's all just wear what we want to! We're a long time dead! All the people saying their bum is too big or they'd look overdressed. Wear it!

bertsdinner · 18/04/2015 21:27

Jeans. I'm 5' 2" and my legs look fat and stumpy in them. Id love to wear them with a pretty top, but my legs would look like tree trunks.

DamselNotInHerDress · 18/04/2015 22:18

Fuck it, I think I'm going for a tutu. Now to choose a colour.

I want a leopard cat suit and cape like the one worn by Shania Twain in the video for That Don't Impress Me Much. I have got a fluffy leopard print onesie from Dunelm though. Does that count? I agree with a PP who said wear what you want. Life's too short etc. So, if you see a short, tubby 40 year old swanning round Tesco in a leopard print cape, come and say hello Grin

A real fur coat Sad
I mean I wouldn't EVER as I hate the whole idea but ... one of my earliest memories was snuggling into my mum, in the 70's, burying my face in her long fur coat. The scent of Chloe and the second sensation of the silky fur ....
But yeah, no way. I despise the idea but it's such an emotive feeling

Flyinggeese21 · 20/04/2015 22:38

Oh, also, white stilettos.
