I would also like to knowing if she has been banned, because I read the contentious thread also and she did nothing wrong. she was blunt but not rude or insulting.

Yanbu. She did nothing wrong on that thread. She made no personal attacks against the op.

If she was banned over the dogknapping thread then I think that's seriously poor.
She was pretty measured, offered advice and help and only called the OP on lies she could prove.

MNHQ, please reconsider and sort this out. Surely you can see this is ridiculous? And why was the other thread deleted? I was going to say this is getting a bit Stasi-like, but I really think its more serious than that:

Can I just ask why you don't just give a reason

"We have suspended X's account for y number of days/ permanently because of personal attacks/ trolling/ abusive language and behaviour/ we think they're a twat"

Or "X has had to go to the naughty step for y days because she needs to think about her behaviour"

I don't always agree witht he way that DBF gets her point across, but in this instance she was really rather restrained. Other people were far more venomous, and lots of us (yep, I said us) showed our frustration with TLES and the attention seeking.

DBF was frankly pretty measured on that thread.

The OP was quite clearly about to do something with her dog that wasn't well thoguht through.
She was advised not to do it. Offered help how not to do it.

But she doesn't even need to think about her behaviour. She did nothing wrong. I read the whole thread up until MNHQ said they were deleting and she made no personal attack at all. She just criticised TLES actions.

Perhaps MNHQ are reading through that thread now to see whether the banning of DBF was warranted or not?
