I still don't understand the point of a ban? You only need a new email to get a new account and you could just make your username dogbestfriedn123.....

LoopyLoopsRootyFroots · 07/11/2011 20:13

Sorry Justine, but that is bloody foolish.

We're all sitting here in stupid 'wafty things' and that is your explanation?

Is it a permanent ban? If so, I'm offski.

ColdSancerre · 07/11/2011 20:14

Justine, was it something on a different thread then? Because there wasn't anything against guidelines on the TLES thread.

ChickensHaveNoEyebrows · 07/11/2011 20:14

Oh, that's a bloody shame. Has the OP of that contentious thread also been banned?

SixStringWidow · 07/11/2011 20:14
Shock

I was on that thread.

DBF was a tad forceful but I sensed that was down to her feeling so strongly about what she was saying. I even sent her a PM (my first sent item Grin) to tell her how much I admired her passion, and told her to keep up the good work.

It's good to be passionate about something.

It would be a shame to lose her as she knows her field and I would trust her advice any day.

CaptainKirksNipples · 07/11/2011 20:14

Fuck that!

SayCoolNowSayWhip · 07/11/2011 20:14

wha' goin' on? I miss everything when I do RL stuff....

AVoidkaTheKillerZombies · 07/11/2011 20:14

there are odd things going on tonight

Bellavita · 07/11/2011 20:14

Bloody hell ItsOnlyme - gawd knows what you said, but that was blandly quick!

Did DBF not make quite a few parent's lives easier though? I know she was blunt but she did seem to offer actual help, practical help on a number of occasions.

ItsonlymeMrsDB · 07/11/2011 20:15

I thought that would get deleted ! Grin

Bellavita · 07/11/2011 20:15

Jeeze, blardy

Goldenbrown1981 · 07/11/2011 20:15

Rubbish

RhondaRoo · 07/11/2011 20:15

I didn't see 'the' thread, but DBF - yes she's forthright and passionate but only because she sees dogs being treated like accessories every day of the week (sorry, she runs a dog home?? I assume but don't know - just from what I've read of her posts)

I shall join in your sit-in, no kaftan and no bra, but I do have a loopy-half lab lying across suffocating me .

So for the sake of decent dog owners everywhere, I shall wear my virtual kaftan.

LoopyLoopsRootyFroots · 07/11/2011 20:15

Explain where in this particular thread you felt she was ignoring the rules, Justine. We all seem to have missed it. Hmm

SnapesMistress · 07/11/2011 20:15

She was not aggressive, merely stating her case. Alao, are we not allowed bunfights anymore?

I thought MNHQ could ban actual computers from some kind of unique serial number each PC has

JustineMumsnet · 07/11/2011 20:16

@BeerTricksPotter

There was nothing wrong with her behaviour on that thread though. Nothing at all.

Fraid there was a nasty personal attack and she was on a warning for that - we really don't ban people for no reason - it's a pretty rare occurrence for non-troll posters.

ItsonlymeMrsDB · 07/11/2011 20:16

Bella

I only speak the truth. Grin

What did you say MrsDB? Tell me for three green jelly tots.
