Gordon Bennett! I'm getting quite cross now with threads disappearing the second that I go to do something important. Is this a ploy to make us sit glued to the computer in case we miss something?

Sorry for flippancy. I support this thread and I have brought a deckchair and a pop-up tent for the sit in. Although I might have to pop out for a bit. Please dont delete this before I get back.

I only saw the beginning of the TLES thread - I was quite shocked by how 'blunt' DBF was but I get why she was saying what she was saying. She works with rescue dogs doesnt she? So must get pretty fed up when owners take on dogs that they cant realistically care for properly.

What evidence is there to suggest she has been banned?
Perhaps the thread was pulled but no one was banned?

She's been banned before I think, so perhaps was on license...but seriously I can't see that she did anyhting warranting a revocation on the dogknapping thread.

We can only hope it was a mistake. Otherwise we might as well merge with netmums and be done with it

I didn't see the thread but I really like DBF. She has opinions but I have never seen her be offensive

She was trying to help, doing the best she could and made NO personal attacks at all.

Why do we think she has been banned?

I only saw the beginning of the thread but it was quite refreshing to see a certain poster being pulled up for some of her ridiculous nonsense for a change. DBF needs praise, not banning. Why do people think she's been banned?

If she has been named could she not just register again under a different name?

I'm quite new to MN, skim read some of the thread, and having no allegiances anywhere, can honestly say I thought DBF came over rather badly. She was aggressive and overbearing and on the attack.
Ok, she feels passionate about the subject...I could see that, but I do think from the little I saw, she was way OTT.
She's not the world's authority on dogs, and has no place telling other people what to do.
Sorry if that's an unpopular viewpoint, but as someone who has no feelings about DBF either way, I reckoned she was being totally self important and inappropriate. And I only saw the first three pages.
