I will say what boring shit I said on the other thread.

DBF wasn't rude to the OP - but I was, and other posters were.

DBF didn't call troll - I did, and other posters did.

DBF called up detail from previous threads that proved the OP was telling lies - this is not against the guidelines, other people do it all the time.

DBF called up detail from PMs - again, afaik this is not against guidelines.

So please MNHQ credit us with some intelligence and either (a) tell us why she has been banned or (b) admit that you made a mistake when banning her (alluded to by helen on the other thread).

I also didn't know it was against the guidelines to mention Mamazon. She is a long time MNer who was banned - and MNHQ gave us the reasons for her banning. So if you can give the reasons for Mamazon having been banned, you can be consistent and do the same in this case.

And whilst we are on the subject of banning long time MNers for repeated emotional vampirism, fabrication and trolling.......

pictish you must have been reading a different thread to me because in the past I've pulled DBF upon her manner which has been all the things you describe, but on that thread...I didn't think so.

She offered advice and help to the op - who didn't even ackowledge it.
And she only called her on inconsistencies.

AVoidkaTheKillerZombies · 07/11/2011 20:01

People (expecially DBF) do tend to get offensive when people like the OP on that thread act like Dogs are things you can get rid of whenever it suits you.

Eevryone else got annoyed because its just another woe is me drama fest from the Queen of woe is me!

Surely not?

Goldenbrown1981 · 07/11/2011 20:02

Just wanted to add my voice to this. I couldn't see anything she had done wrong

bumpybecky · 07/11/2011 20:02

yanbu

Bellavita · 07/11/2011 20:02

I saw some of that read when it started. What did the poster lie about AVoidka?

Bellavita · 07/11/2011 20:02

thread

AVoidkaTheKillerZombies · 07/11/2011 20:02

I also think that DBF was rather annoyed that she had been proved right (if that makes sense), that this dog was too much for TLES and she was just going to get rid because it was an annoyance.

BrianAndHisBalls · 07/11/2011 20:02

usually i find dbf fucking annoying and aggressive but on that thread she wasn't. the only posts that should have been deleted were about fingernails and children. As i said at the time.

IveGotTightsOlderThanYouLove · 07/11/2011 20:03

DogBeastFriend is one the best posters I've seen on MN. She's VERY helpful and has some great advice. What a terrible shame if she's banned. :(

GetOrf · 07/11/2011 20:03

I too am staging a 60s style sit-in on this thread until we get some answers, frankly.

WE SHALL NOT WE SHALL NOT BE MOVED

Out of interest, why did the dog napping thread in Aibu/chat go but the one in the DH stands? The OP has now remembered she didn't actually own the dog at all.

LoopyLoopsRootyFroots · 07/11/2011 20:03

Seriously, is there any evidence to suggest that this is the case, or is it just because she hasn't posted after that thread? I can't think of why she would have been banned from that thread, unless it spiralled out of control while I was putting the baby to bed?

ColdSancerre · 07/11/2011 20:04

I'm not wearing a kaftan. I will consent to weave some lentils though.

ItsonlymeMrsDB · 07/11/2011 20:04

Not moving.

SIT !

I can beg too, if you throw me a jelly tot. Grin

GeraldineAubergine · 07/11/2011 20:04

That thread did look as if it might go a bit pear shaped when it started due to the ops mad reasons for getting rid of her dog. Why would you start an inflammatory thread in a niche area of a forum with posters whom you knew it would upset, if your intention was not to offend and cause trouble?

SuePurblybilt · 07/11/2011 20:04

Oh, ignore if that's not relevant, sorry. I thought she maybe had been banned over that one too.

LoveInAColdClimate · 07/11/2011 20:04

I want to know too - I'm not "MN friends" with DBF but I have seen her dedication to helping dogs and the lengths she is prepared to go to to assist. I know she can be a bit abrasive but so can lots of posters who are still here... MNHQ, if she has been banned, please may she come back?

Rhinestone · 07/11/2011 20:04

Is this now OCCUPY MUMSNET?

Joining sit in, making a sign, about to braid my hair...

catgirl1976 · 07/11/2011 20:05

(appreciate its the wrong sort of protest but its been digging in my boob all day)
