Welcome @hazelnutmochi and @maloney123 oh Maloney what a motivation you have to stop drinking, funny thing is and I'm sure we can all agree that when your pregnant you do just stop, it's no longer just about you.
Hazel alcohol lied to me made the most impact (on me anyway) I crack open a tonic water every day at 6, it sour so seems to beat off cravings. The other girls have loads of lovely suggestions. I also have changed my diet and have dinner early.(just stuff I don't associate with wine). This makes me full and then I plan a cup of tea and 'something nice'.
Newer, I got sleeping tabs at first, along with the libruim. Well worth getting a few sleeping tabs just for the odd might. 7.5 didn't touch me though, I took 2 of those and then a few 10mgs whensleep beganto settle. I have.15 left and don't need them now.
Honestly the cravings DO ease up, yeh it's always kinda there but not as head consuming as first week or 3.
Congrats noel and rupert on day 23 and pants and ymna on your days. (Totally agree rupert, I don't know how I feel either but has to be done at this stage) hope you and DH are good Noel
Not long now stillseparated
Ah ymna me ole shegosha. Yep God loves us trying, at least we are giving the family a laugh. House devil, street angel. I am always grateful they don't act up too much outside. I do know that 7or old boy is 3rd, middle child really is just craving attention. The others seem to have a different way of demanding. School tomorrow I CANNOT WAIT. I'll be doing a jig come 8.45. Funny, we were given different time slots, mine was originally 9.20am (fuck that, its half the day gone) so I used boy with SN as an excuse (his bus is unreliable) to get 8.15am. Now if you had asked me a year ago I would have been factoring in a hangover to my timings! And spending more time gargling and showering etc, making sure I was sober enough to drive. All these things give me such happiness now (and I have to push the guilt, shame and regret down) I AM changing for the better
