I lived up north and down south and Leeds is a place where people:

1. offers you poorer service than anywhere else at a higher premium, worst value for money
2. are lacking of moral values and self respect and gives you the impression that they are b** raised
3. don't contribute to safer society, simply hopeless

For those who enjoys "back-to-back" properties or Leeds, hope you enjoy the depreciating property price and this city's decaying future. Otherwise I'd hope you'd avoid this s*hole!

There is some stunning architecture and beautiful arcades, it seems to have escaped the severe bombings of the Second World War that other cities have suffered.

It also largely escaped the worst of the decline of many industrial Northern neighbours, which I’m led to believe is because Leeds never put all its industrial eggs in one basket as other cities did. Being specialist in a trade is to be admired, but diversity creates some protection.

Can you explain a little more why you're so angry about Leeds, it seems a little...unhinged 😂 and back to back properties actually. My friend lived in one, it was a bit noisy but fuck it it worked for her at the time and almost doubled in value in the four years she's lived there. Which kind of undermines the depreciating property values point of your post.

Also the weather tends to be a bit better than over the pennines (where I can only assume you're from 😂)

I always think Leeds is quite underrated as a city.

That’s my holiday ruined. Was looking forward to a Leeds as well.

Bit of a weird post. Leeds is a lovely city. Countryside 15 minutes away. Lots of restaurants. Back to back was my first house. but there are other types available

lived in lots of cities and found Leeds to be very friendly

Ha I used to live in one of those back to back properties.

Was a shithole in all honesty but it was also incredibly useful to have somewhere cheap to move to straight after uni on a minimum wage job so I didn’t have to move back in with my parents 💪
