I lived up north and down south and Leeds is a place where people:

1. offers you poorer service than anywhere else at a higher premium, worst value for money
2. are lacking of moral values and self respect and gives you the impression that they are b** raised
3. don't contribute to safer society, simply hopeless

For those who enjoys "back-to-back" properties or Leeds, hope you enjoy the depreciating property price and this city's decaying future. Otherwise I'd hope you'd avoid this s*hole!

Whatever this man did to you (I'm imagining a painter and decorator from Leeds did a shit job on your stairs and landing or something), don't take it out on the whole city. They're just innocent Loiners.

I've lived in Liverpool for years but Leeds is great. I'd certainly rather live there than London or Manchester.

Well that's me told.

The city centre isn't great these days, but there's plenty of decent towns and villages on the outskirts with thriving communities and affordable housing. First time buyer houses in my commuter village get snapped up and are typically worth double what they were just over a decade ago. If people weren't wanting to live close to Leeds then I doubt that would be the case.

Sadly @InterestGuardian has only seen the rougher parts of Leeds, cos my experience is that it's not a bad city by a long shot - I dont live there nor am I from Leeds (it's on the wrong side of the pennines 🤣🤣🤣). Leeds Uni is very well regarded too.

This is oddly specific. I quite like Leeds! Had a lovely time every time I’ve been, people are friendly, the armouries is a great museum.

Leeds property prices aren't depreciating. They've risen 3.8% in the year to September 2026. Interestingly back to back properties are holding and increasing in value better than more expensive properties.
