What is going to happen is the small boat crossings will continue to decrease and the speed at which applications are dealt with will continue to increase.

The RNLI are escorting boats of illegal immigrants from half way across the Channel to France. We can’t pretend they are just here to save lives at sea these days.

It's pretty much cross party now regarding party supporters including even Labour voters. Its just the government and PLP that don't seem to have read the room. And they are the ones in power.

It takes a strong ideological mentality to ignore the Security Services when they warn that hostile states like Iran are using the boats to infiltrate the UK anonymously. You would think immediate emergency powers or starting the process to leave the ECHR if that's what is stopping them sort this out would be appropriate. But no. We all instead have to "take our fair share".

What we know is that only 1% are genuine asylum seekers. And yet significantly more are granted asylum. I assume to get the numbers of asylum seekers down, the number of approvals will just go up so people can be free to enter society. We can't exactly trust the government figures any more.

I have genuinely never seen this before for the coaches that meet the boats off the coast. It genuinely made me wonder if something else was going on. Bizarre. I have my theories, but this is not a safe space to share them.

Perfectly logical and reasonable to cover their faces given how we know the State deals with certain people that oppose it's policies. Not all people of course...just some.

To you understand this very complicated scenario, the boats were diverted to land elsewhere, so the coaches, and accompanying police motorcade, are driving to the elsewhere to pick the “asylum seekers” up from the newly arranged rendezvous point.

The RNLI do not provide welcoming tents, or cuddles, or snuggly pyjamas. They volunteer their time and risk their lives to save strangers from drowning at sea, without prejudice. That is all. If "Tommo" (whoever the fuck he might be) punctures his own (or somone else's) dinghy, they would rescue him too, without prejudice. To assign political motives to the RNLI is disgusting.

These people are not "illegals". It is legal to come here and claim asylum. The UK ended legal routes, which is why the system is in disarray. It makes asylum seekers wait 2 years plus for a decision, hence rhe backlog of cases, hence hotels. It is illegal for asylum seekers to work, hence the cost.
