This is the police escort for the latest small boat arrivals at Gosport tonight.

So it all sounds very dramtic but in reality he punctured the boat, a slow puncture, it didn't even look like it affected it, the boat wasnt even going down. The RNLI guy could have stepped onto the boat next to him. He was in full safety gear with lifejacket and he chose to carry on pottering around the dinghy rather than step back onto the RNLI boat that was directly next to him.

But it sounds much better the way you describe it. Maybe you could direct the next Transformers movie with all that imagination.

We only got rid of about 300 per year prior to Brexit. The Dublin agreement also required us to take people in. Look it up.

I am no supporter of Nigel Farage but the fact that this disinformation is doing the rounds - still! - really bugs me. What is your explanation for the fact that other European countries are having exactly the same problem? They are still in the EU. The Dublin agreement has largely been reframed under the AMMR but the basic principles remain. (pun not intended) (no I haven’t gone to bed yet)

Are you thinking of Dover? That was pretty peaceful I think and the point of that was that because the police weren't given notice there was going to be a protest, they didn't have time to bus in the Antifa facists and Hate Not Hope antagonisers to stir up trouble.

They will have to be pressganged in that case. No way are British people going to fight willingly in Ukraine or for any EU army. Conversely, there is no shortage of willing British and Irish men prepared to defend their own countries against this outrageous business.

Its a shame that the effect of the small boats is to infect and corrupt so much of the UK now. Even the RNLI ..a stand-up organisation if there ever was one is being sucked in..and will be badly damaged as a result of the governments inability to control not the protesters but our borders.

So just to recap your post, you're sure that the Nation State of Iran is using unsafe boats to cross the English Channel or La Manche to infiltrate the UK. And you say that other "hostile states" are in on it too. Would that be China? Russia?

I'll bet most of your favourite "hostile states" have methods of spying and infiltration that are less clumsy and risky to their people than getting them all the way to France and then expecting them to shove onto an overcrowded rubber dinghy.

And your suggestion for dealing with these imagined hostile states, all of which are OUTSIDE the EU, is for the UK to exit the EUROPEAN Convention on Human Rights. Your logic isn't on today.

Again. This was widely reported a few weeks ago. In all major reputable media outlets so have a look yourself. And it was the UKs security services that raised the alarm. I feel they are as reliable a source as far as can be hoped for these days. You may of course disagree.
