PMK so sad the PMs father died, must be hard in the public eye and not immediately expected- he looked so happy after the Great North Run. I’d pay Reform, Restore, and especially Trump not to make any statements on the matter. I don’t trust that after the first sentence it would veer somewhere completely inappropriate.

I was wondering why so many posters were suddenly outraged about that, as if they just discovered unions donate to Labour.

It is a false comparisson anyway, not that has stopped anyone before.

I haven’t forgotten that, as a mum to a disabled DD. And with a brother who also has an invisible disability.

Reform types don’t seem to grasp it’s not the combined donation total that’s the issue - it’s that it comes from just two individuals (which gives them huge influence) and it comes via a route which means the origin can’t be accurately pinpointed. Also one if the two has been convicted of offences related to crapto and only pardoned because Trump is a dick. A bought and paid for dick.

Farage is a massive hypocrite - he doesn't mind backdating his planned legislation to retrospectively remove ILR - it's only when it effects him and his interests

And of course he actually needs to get elected first to do any of what he threatens/promises - tho' I see some MN reform-types don't believe in polling now the polls aren't moving in Farages favour

Belated tax

There is an (ex) teacher on MN who likes to claim she left a union some years back, disgusted that it contributed some of her subs to Labour.

Please note : this is untrue.

My belated tax is a fox tax.

I wandered downstairs earlier to find my husband glued to the cricket, watching a fox that had decided to make itself quite at home at the Oval. It was eventually chased off, which was absolutely hilarious to watch. So cute!
