DS was seriously wheat intolerant for years. I converted everything I cooked and baked to GF (pasta and bread never good enough). But there are loads of resources for intolerance out there. I recommend Becky Excell - recipes for everything, including cakes and treats that are properly delicious, most things have dairy free options too. I still bake GF frequently, have separate tins, bowls etc. because the demand is there and if you do it right, people don't notice.

We've finally had a storm and it feels so much fresher for it. Of course, it passed a little north of us but straight over the park where the historic vehicle display we've been looking forward to for months is set to take place. The buses will sink into the grass!

It’s so cold here I’m wearing a jumper and a fleece and I have a fleecy blanket over me. I’m even considering putting the heating on.

It’s not cold here. It was dark and gloomy early and it’s rained a lot. No thunder again despite a warning from the Met. Still humid.

Not cold here either. 17°c.

O did pull the windows closed a little someone about an inch. That was mainly because of the wind and rain lashing down.

We’ve had a lot of rain here too, on and off. DD1 hates the noisiness of it. It’s stopped now, though. No thunder and lightning, though.

It’s started raining heavily again, but thankfully DD1 is asleep. Hope she stays that way!

Sunshine with dark clouds here today, some overnight rain.

I’ve just heard that Mr B is being discharged on Wednesday, just 13 days after his transplant surgery! It’s a bloody miracle. Please could you PM me any questions/good wishes. I don’t want to draw too much attention to it on the thread.
