I agree with this assessment, and I think he will be a credible candidate for Mayor of London. It will be interesting to see how it goes when the time comes for the Mayoral election.

Yes, I think almost certainly that’s how he’s hoping to position himself. Wait it out for the next GE when the Tory seats are not recovered from L/Ds and more are lost to Reform.

Just got back from the shop and a man, mid 30s with possibly a 9/10 year old boy said "Shall we chop this lady's chop arm off?" as I was taking something out of the chiller with sliding doors. I said "What?" an his response was "It was just a joke!".

We've had another day of threatened rain without it materialising.

I other news, I saw my first mince pies of the year, today.

We had very heavy periods of rain but none of the promised thunder. Still feels quite humid but I think it’ll start to clear now.

He deconstructs everything he eats so the concept would be wasted on him. He does have it with an egg sarnie, though. Has to be 2 eggs and he eats them before the bread.

Edit: and he always leaves the crusts. Unlike lunch where I have to cut away some of the crust because he eats them in one go.

I hate brioche too! Give me bread or give me cake not some in between nonsense.
DH makes fantastic Welshcakes but is on a low sugar jag at the moment which is probably for the best on my part.
