We're on our 4th day of fairly heavy rain. Patio plants crushed. Cats fuming. Lawn looking smug.

Just grey and sticky, here. DS2 was in an awful mood for most of yesterday.

Ted.Lasso season 4?

No idea. Think we’ve started at the beginning. Ds put it on and so I sat in lounge to watch it with him while doing my Asda order and writing the list.

All I know is it’s hilarious! (And he did mention a new one with a woman’s team)

Yep it’s season 1! We’ve plenty to keep us amused this rainy day!

Season 4 just started and is about the women's team.and it's a disappointment, there is a thread in tv addicts.

It is definitely a day to stay in and watch something good. I always feel guilty watching TV in the daytime, though

My youngest child goes travelling today and my youngest grandchild is about to start school. So I'm feeling a bit out of sorts at the passage of time, the independence, the end of things so its all gone a bit pathetic fallacy for me today.

We only got the first 3 episodes via prime.

Nic Mohammed is hosting the Proms James Bond night at the RAH. (For all Ted Lasso fans). Will be watching. Interesting fact about Nic: he plays the violin and performed with the orchestra at Durham University.

Honestly it’s worth paying for a month of Apple TV just for Ted Lasso. I think we’ve watched it three times now. It’s a joy.

Oohhh I think I have a months free pass on my phone contract I never activated as we never watch it.

Something to investigate.

Apple TV is worth it for Slow Horses.

Definitely, new series start soon.

In a similar state of mind - my eldest starts university in September. Thrilled for them but it’s made me feel reflective. A number of family changes this year. I swear time is speeding up.

Oh yes Slow Horses is brilliant. There you are, Ted Lasso, Slow Horses and Shrinking is good too. I almost envy you watching them for the first time.

I went back to the beginning in preparation - about to restart 5. It’s such a joy to watch (joy seems weird given the violence & themes but it is!)

one of the few characters that the more you learn about her, the more extraordinary she shines.

Never seen Shrinking but Silo is pretty good, not a comedy.
