Guess my age

No this isn't going to be one of those threads where I post a photograph and ask you to say how old you think I look.

I just thought for a bit of fun for anyone who like me has too much time on their hands, I would post a few facts about myself and see if you can guess my age.

I will post odd random facts over the next day, then tell you my age tomorrow.

This is a new user name, in case I have mentioned my age in previous post.

Fact 1) My mother used to wear dresses made of crimplene.

Fact 2) My father used to ride a bike and wore cycle clips to stop his trousets from getting caught in the cycle chain.

I'm struggling to square the high first house price with the parents born before WW1.

with the new information that both your parents were born before world war 1 so thats before 1914, so I am assuming you may be about 80

Did you have a TV in your childhood?

79 my mum is 69 and friends in their 70s who have mentioned Jacquie magazine. Then judging by my grandparents would be age and your parents being around 10 years older

Listen with Mother finished in 1982 but we did kids TV instead in the late 1960s. Woodentops and Andy Pandy.

My parents bought their first tv second hand when I was about 5 and it was a black and white tv.

Apart from the parents born pre ww1 you sound like my mother, so I'm going to say 71/72 born to older parents
