Guess my age

No this isn't going to be one of those threads where I post a photograph and ask you to say how old you think I look.

I just thought for a bit of fun for anyone who like me has too much time on their hands, I would post a few facts about myself and see if you can guess my age.

I will post odd random facts over the next day, then tell you my age tomorrow.

This is a new user name, in case I have mentioned my age in previous post.

Fact 1) My mother used to wear dresses made of crimplene.

Fact 2) My father used to ride a bike and wore cycle clips to stop his trousets from getting caught in the cycle chain.

No, my mother wasn't a fan of either Elvis Presley or Cliff Richard.

Gosh, I had relatively old parents both born between the wars and I'm early 60s, so you could be 80. But liking Jackie? That's more 65ish. Hmm. Say.. 71 with very old parents.

Hmmm, then I’d be thinking Sinatra, Nat King Cole and Dean Martin era? So am now guessing you may be around 69.

Is there a prize if we guess correctly?

I think you must have missed the bit where I said my parents were both born before the start of World War 1. (They were my real parents, I wasn't adopted).

Vivid wallpaper suggests a 70s childhood

so I’m going for 64

on the basis I had vivid wallpaper ( orange and brown ) but barely remember it so if you remember it I think you may be a little older than me

My Grandparenrs were born before the first world war and my mum would have been 84 now
