Donald Trump has threatened to stop selling weapons for Ukraine, in order to pressure its European allies to join efforts to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, according to a new report.
The Financial Times has reported that the US president's threat centred around the PURL initiative.
This is a NATO procurement programme in which European nations purchase weapons from the US and give them to Ukraine.

He was my parents' congressman and I seem to recall a little 'mistake' in 2016 where his campaign sent out a leaflet urging Dem voters not to forget to send in their absentee ballots, but put the deadline a day too late for them to be counted. And then, oops, they made the exact same 'mistake' in 2018.
