FWIW, from what I'm hearing on CNN the commentators are leaning towards believing that SCOTUS will deny Scrotus' birthright citizenship lawsuit. But don't count your chickens, don't put all your eggs in one basket, don't cross that bridge until we come to it, don't put the cart before the horse, and any other platitudes about not being sure of something before it actually happens. Because these days we really DO never know!

ETA Sauer's actual voice doesn't bother me, he can't help that. It's that he talks so fast. It's like he rushes his words so fast as if he's hoping no one will be able to follow what he's saying. Or that he knows he's talking bullshit and just wants to get it over with.

Speaker of the House and Senate Majority Leader did a deal. But no bill has been passed as far as I know. They've just agreed to use the Senate-passed framework and then utilize budget reconciliation for rest of the funds. Budget reconciliation allows a bill to be passed by simple majority. But it all still has to be voted on.
