I salute all of you who are conducting 'excursions' into those 'other threads'. A while back I took a gander at one of them and it made my head hurt. So in the name of my own sanity (and not being banned) I just can't go there.

I seen some of his "teaser" comments from the Easter egg roll on the feeds. I wonder if someone will ask him to retract his John McCain comments. The reporter could do it like this perhaps ?

I just put the news on but only lasted around 10 secs. Twatface drivelling on about how hard it is to rescue downed pilots, and it's never been done before, but he's so amazing it got done (may not be totally accurate, I switched it off quite quickly.

While I'm glad they rescued the airman, I can't help wondering if they were following illegal orders in this illegal war, or if he was part of the crew that targeted the girls school.

There is a Lego movie response to the plant and bridge day tweet. I hope nobody is showing these to Trump because I can see a situation where they’re doing this to every angry unhinged tweet and he loses it totally and does something completely stupid.

My Twitter algorithm is not so comprehensively fucked because of these I don’t think I’m going to be allowed into the US for quite some time.

With regard to the second point, given, conspiracy theories aside, the school was hit by long range guided weapons (tomahawk has been mentioned) the answer is no.

...and if Trump really claimed such a rescue has never been done before he doesn't know his history...there were at the very least two similary massive operations duing the Vietnam conflct to exfiltrate downed aircrew....

I believe that Trump is in awe that they "didn't get back one, but two" and that's never been done before...

Just leaving this here as it makes for amusing reading. The truth will out some day.

There was a heck of a lot of Combat SAR carried out in South East Asia and it would be stretching credibility to believe there was never an instance there where more than one flyer was extracted during the course of one operation...

Still it's Donald's world where everything he's involved in has to simply be the bigliest thing ever done................

Well. That messes up the Trumpsters who said it was hacked.

I have to say, his comments, and Melania's, about protecting Iranian kids have riled me. I have just said night night to DD (13 ), the usual " homework all done ?" , "all ready for school tomorrow". DD goes to a "regime" school. And like all kids in the regime country we live in, NONE of them should die because of a vile orange turd like that.

Melania ? Vile too. Even more vile perhaps. She could walk away at any time.

I still think the Iranian regime is fucking awful, but stealing the countries oil and bombing them back to the stone age is not going to help the people.

There was a fair amount of that sort of speculation all over Twitter last night. I have absolutely no idea how much of any is true but the American and the Iranian regimes seem to have two completely different stories about it and at this point I wouldn’t have any idea about trying to guess which is most likely to be accurate.

It does seem like it is entirely possible that the US tried to do something extremely dodgy and it went completely wrong. I’d imagine we’ll find out when Trump loses it over something and tweets the actual truth in a rant on Lies Social.

Yes that ramble is all very well until you read comment such as:

I just read about the differing versions. Trump makes out that it was a successful rescue mission. The Iranians say it was a failed attempt to extract their Uranium.

Trump has said that he doesn't care about war crime allegations.
