The US has arrested the niece and grand-niece of Iranian general Qasem Soleimani, who was killed by a US air strike in Iraq in 2020.
The US State Department says the relatives, who had been living in the US, had their lawful permanent resident status terminated by Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

It says Soleimani's niece has continued to be an "outspoken supporter" of the Iranian regime and that she has promoted the regime's "propaganda" in the US.

"The Trump Administration will not allow our country to become a home for foreign nationals who support anti-American terrorist regimes," the statement says.

I have been watching some of these LEGO videos you mention. Oh my God! They are good (though, I should not say that...), I am impressed and even more terrified that I was before. And I was scared enough!
They are bold, determined, purposeful, and definitively not shy, are they?
They even have a cluster bomb depicted! Weapon that they have used and it is illegal (not that they are the only ones to use illegal tactics or weapons, of course)

I watched an anti terrorism expert talking in US about how this kind of missile has on board cameras, so it should have been possible for the team shooting to have noticed it was a school, at least after the first shot.

Currently online speculation that Trump is at Walter Reed Hospital today. But no confirmation.

If that was what he was on about then whilst it's true some long range US weapons may use onboard cameras to carry out image matching as part of their guidance it's an autonomous process carried out on board, no team in a backroom anywhere.

OK,.firstly bear in mind the speaker is a anti-terrorist expert,.not a weapons specialist or even a lowly weapons geek...

Somewhere in there she is probably correct in saying that the fact the target was a school should have been picked up from satellite images...that is where any blame should be assigned, so we're looking at maybe the NSA/CIA/Pentagon not someone in the field.

..and TBF yes she's also right that some Tomahawks have TV cameras, it's a system that goes by the acronym of DSMAC, that performs image matching onboard the missile...all that info has been in the public domain for years,.no TS or whatever clearance needed.

However there's never been any suggestion that DSMAC equipped Tomahawks are broadcasting DSMAC images out in flight and absolutely no reason to think there was a team anywhere, and certainly not on the ship, watching the terminal stage of each missiles flight.

I'd suggest there would be no way anyone on the ships crew had any idea in anything close to real time what their missiles hit, so dragging them into this mess, or perhaps even hinting that they actively controled a triple tap is, well,...no I'll keep my mouth shut on my opinion on that.

I can see the lady deeply believes in whatever her cause is but I think some of what she said, and perhaps more importantly didn't say is just a bit missleading.

I am actually extremely surprised that they would accept the relatives of someone they have assasinated. It makes zero sense.

I think we’ve talked about this before. He’s been disappearing at the start of the month since about Sept. There are a few days at the start where there are no presidential engagements, no tv interviews (unusual since he usually can’t avoid a camera), then the bruised hand. And often he starts talking about another cognitive test after.
I think there may have been one press conference he couldn’t avoid. It was the one he was nearly an hr late for and they wouldn’t let the press in until the last moment.

I’ve got a feeling it might have started after those few days last August where he disappeared for days and everyone was wondering if he was dead.

It did cross my mind earlier when someone mentioned he’d suddenly gone quiet.

Is it bad that at this point because all that has come from a letter from the state department I’m not convinced it’s true and will need to go find some other confirmation.

I mean I agree if she’s done those things it is risky but I might hade done a few things the state department could twist into interpreting that way if they wanted and I don’t support Iran. I think a few of us might be guilty of promoting Iranian propaganda and voicing the view that the current administration is evil.

Yeah. I can't see the vid, but what I notice straight away is the lack of physics.

Tomahawk cruise speed 550 mph. So 246 meters per second or 4 seconds per Km. I suspect terminal velocity will be faster. And it is a missile, so it has limited flight controls. It can only make small changes to direction. If we assume the camera system is more like a phone camera, or even a high end DSLR rather than the vids the pentagon releases (downgraded for public ?), then we could say 2km range for an operator to spot the target is wrong, then that means 8 seconds to say "oh" + reaction time then push abort button+ transmit time + flight surface move on missile + air flow causes changes of direction - all added up= too late. And that goes for self destruct too.

Missiles are dumb. for all intents etc. Once fired there is not a lot one can do. If the vid of the missile hitting is genuine, then it's terminal speed could be calculated from the camera frame rate and so on. Cant remember if it was a video or a still from the vid.

It baffles me how this would have got passed Noem and her Ice goons when they were doing their "see who we are deporting" propaganda press releases. So either lies are being told or the 17 (?) US security agencies and DHS are useless.

I think my way of describing watching Trump in this, is to say that it is like following a pro war uninformed teen on Twitter commenting on a war someone else is running. Like it was President Rubio, And Trump is on Twitter yelling " Bomb them to the stone ages Marco", "Kill their generals Marco". " Wow look at that big explosion".

That appears to be the strategy.
