Lovely :) You have more patience than I do. I always wonder why I put myself through it when I attempt counted stitching.

I'm just resting my hands from some traditional crewel work. That flower, on the right, that I'm currently working on is getting quite dense due to all the ends that need dealing with and pulling the needle through is becoming an effort!

My tax is a picture of the Castlewellan peace maze taken two years ago. We didn't get to the centre.

Ah that's lovely. That's real talent :). I am crap at sewing but I really enjoy cross stitching or "sewing by numbers" as I call it. I find it so relaxing. I do have some embroidery kits which I am planning on doing when I get the time.

I have a tendency to get quite tense and a bit twitchy with it and this calms that right down. Even when I'm having to tug rough wool through a thick mat of more rough wool as neatly and accurately as possible! I've had to call it a day because what little useful light there was has gone, now.
