Same. I can't be arsed having another.

🤣🤣 christ that's blunt, but I'm totally with you

Crushed23 · 29/01/2026 21:03

God yeah, definitely one-and-done if DP and I go down the baby route.

Fuck martyring ourselves in a noisy house with screaming kids all over the place.

When I was 6 my sister was threatening to cut the head off my teddy and I burned her leg with a curling iron. It was intentional (I was trying to hurt her so she would give him back) but I didn’t realise how serious burning someone was. She has still got a scar and always says I should feel bad but I don’t because to me she was threatening the life of MugMug who was very much a living being to me. Also she’s 7 years older than me so I feel like she was just being horrible. Fuck around and find out I guess.

😂😂😂

winterbluess · 29/01/2026 21:04

Wait do people actually wash theor recycling?? I can barely be bothered to wash the actual dishes

piscofrisco · 29/01/2026 21:05

Going away for weekends and sometimes a weeks holiday without any of our children on a regular basis.

I never even considered breastfeeding. No way jose

My main motivation for breastfeeding was it seemed a whole lot easier that faffing with bottles, sterilisers, volumes etc. Especially at night!

PrincessHoneysuckle · 29/01/2026 21:08

For having one child.Never regretted it.

Crushed23 · 29/01/2026 21:10

Not even pregnant but I already know I won’t be breastfeeding 😂

LaFidola · 29/01/2026 21:30

I've found my people on this thread!

I've got 1 child, didn't want to breastfeed and don't recycle.

Don't feel guilty about any of it!

Lovemycat2023 · 29/01/2026 21:35

Using all the chemicals on our hard water stains. Our water is so hard one of the cleaners used acid on the shower screens. Otherwise I try to use natural products but vinegar and baking soda isn’t going to work.

Too right.

Having lots of trainers, and wearing them without socks.

Buying frozen chopped onions, garlic, ginger, ready made mash etc. MIL is agasht - why would I do it when it’s so much cheaper to make it, cut it yourself?! Because I have two young kids and a full time job, and it makes my life easy, that’s why.

Really funny for me reading this as earlier today I discovered you could buy chopped frozen onions (never knew this!) and thought that sounded like a good idea but wasn’t sure…. I think your post is a sign, I’m going to add them to my Asda order tomorrow! 😂 Thanks!

I should feel guilty for working full time as a mum of a toddler, and I don't feel a moments guilt. Also for choosing not to have a 2nd child.

Why should you feel guilty about that? I bet your toddler's father doesn't feel guilty.
Kudos to you for sticking to your guns over family size too.

Not even pregnant but I already know I won’t be breastfeeding 😂

I made that choice as soon as I found out what BF was.
20 years later when I had my first child, I stuck to my decision. My mum gave the first bottle as my gran did for me, and MIL pushed the pram out of the hospital.
I work full time
I don't stay at parties (unless I have been asked to help)
Our puppy is from a KC breeder - I didn't feel experienced enough to take on a rescue with potential health and behaviour problems (I do admire those who do but don't feel guilty about not adopting)

And cheaper!

GinaandGin · 29/01/2026 22:43

I don't feel guilty for lying in my bed to stupid o'clock on my day off
Or showering and putting on clean pjs
Or spending hours in social media
I'm not harming anyone

cockadoodlewho · 29/01/2026 22:47

Amandaholdenstits · 29/01/2026 17:28

We use the tumble dryer for all our washing - can't stand to have clothes hanging off dryers / languishing on radiators and it's so much more convenient. And I think those heated dryers are such an eyesore.

I also use the tumble to de-crease clothes. I never iron

500daysofspring · 29/01/2026 23:12

I work part time purely because I refuse to spend my best years slogging away five days a week. My job is not tied to my identity or self-worth.

For winning the lottery, quite a considerable sum and not telling a soul. I have made life easier by being always the 'one that pays' with family. But doing it this way means it doesn't all just disappear

Good for you! This is exactly how I would do it too. Not that I put on the lottery but still 😂

labamba18 · 29/01/2026 23:25

Having a cleaner every week
Taking the day off when I want (own my own business)
Earning what I do and always being able to pick my DC up from school (I worked hard to get here)

Well please please research them first. Look at their values and belief system; their intelligence levels and ability to navigate complex international relations and think strategically in a complex world. PLs also think about their bond with Trump and his lack of respect for allies, and our soldiers.
Think realistically what you, your family and community and country will gain from them before you use your valuable vote x

WiltedLettuce · 30/01/2026 00:12

Screen time
Beige food

I use these frequently so my kids have a parent who is at least half-functioning. I should do better, yes, but without them my kids would have a very shouty mum who'd probably have done a midnight flit by now.

We went to Disneyland without ours 🤣
