It is sad when families fall out, but after reading many threads on mumsnet around family fall outs and rifts , it is probably a lot more common than you would think and because these people are famous and in the public eye it becomes news worthy.

That is not a family I would've liked to marry into.

Possibly it’s a case of be careful what you wish for, re: your children.

I’m not sure his parents truly understand why he’s separating from them. Might not be a Beckham now. His declarations are obviously designed to hurt his parents. It’s not clear why.

I don’t usually care much for this sort of thing but I’m intrigued I have to say. It’s a very pointed thing to do at this time of year. (Blocking his entire family)

They must have their reasons. I did read that at their wedding David made a speech all about Victoria. I think egos have gotten in the way on both sides and it is sadly probably too late now to mend things.

We may never know lol.

Matter to whom? Presumably it does to the people involved.

Anyway mattering isn't a necessary criteria for discussing something, one can be interested in something without it having any direct effect

I feel sorry for VB that she's estranged from her child and predict he will come to regret it eventually

He'll come back to them once his wife files for divorce from him.

Why is Victoria being so weird? Why can't he move on with his life? What's wrong with him having his own family?

He's arguably a man, Why is his family getting involved and why is it ' he'll come running back'

Feels so unhealthly on the Beckham's side.

Why would she? He seems to worship her.

I'm baffled by the media attention this utter no-mark has been given. Why would anybody, anywhere on this planet care about a Beckham family feud?

I agree. I’m baffled that anyone should be interested in them. They’re totally boring and the children are talentless.

Saw a TikTok earlier of him making a Shepherds Pie, he has no knife skills at all for veg chopping. Loads of comments telling him to ring his mum 🙈

Feel a bit sorry for them on the talentless bit.They should have learnt their craft whatever it may have been from the bottom up.
Not pitched in at the very top IE photography book,Burberry photo shoot,footballer,chef etc.

And knife skills are one of the first things taught to a commis chef.

I think it is all for show. Keeps him “relevant” and in the news for someone with no discernible purpose or talent. I think- his life must be so dull.

So the gossip is his mum liked a post of his on Instagram. Apparently this has made him feel anxious, that he’s always worried about how she will interact with his social media and it makes him feel on edge so he’s now blocked the whole family.

I mean she can of course make a new Instagram from a different email and follow him on that if she wanted to I guess. If she needs recipe suggestions, etc.
