so he’s done a vow renewal after only getting wed in 2022 and none of his siblings or parents were there, just seems to have been organised by his billionaire wife’s parents. It looks like a very deliberate fuck you to his family. What can they have done to deserve such shocking treatment? It’s bizarre. And let’s hope the marriage to the (reportedly prickly, hard work) billionaire works, so he doesn’t have to come crawling back to Mum and Dad………

Perhaps they thought they needed to do it so soon in case they marriage doesn’t last. TBH the only people I know who have renewed their vows have split up soon after.

I see as evidence that their lives are completely without purpose: no real career, not much in the way of education, little evidence of any talent, and thus this type of activity gives temporary focus. After this I imagine it’s back to holidays, another tattoo and showing us how to make a bowl of soup.

They are just bored and looking for a new photo opportunity to keep themselves relevant. I don't see how anyone would want to renew their vows after only a couple of years.

Vow renewal after 3 years? What a pointless, vacuous, embarrassing display of wealth and privilege.

My theory is that they feel their original wedding was marred by whatever has gone on between the families and they wanted to make new memories. Remember there was all the media speculation about Nicola’s wedding dress designer and the families were thought to have fallen out even at that stage. It seems they are erasing the Beckhams from their lives completely.

Family’s stop or pause talking all the time. It’s not new and it’s not rare.

completely cutting out his family is very odd though. I’ve seen this happen in a few situations with a controlling spouse who doesn’t want the in-laws around so convinces their partner to cut them off. Weird unless David and Victoria have done something to really seriously piss them off.

I think something happened at the old wedding so this was a way of resetting and making nicer wedding day memories. Just a guess!

As has been said, Brooklyn has nothing whatsover to offer. Zero talent or skills. I think he is a troubled young man, and I fear for him and his future. I think he has some serious issues.

And who the F renews their marriage vows after 3 years? All this feels very performative, and like he's sticking his middle finger up at his parents. Incredibly childish.

Is his wife a billionaire? I thought she was an B-list/not very well known actress? I believe her parents are rich, but it's not her money. Is Brooklyn like Marylin Monroe's character in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes?' Her husband-to-be's father says she is a bimbo and is only marrying his son for his money, and she says 'oh no no no, I'm NOT marrying him for his money, I'm marrying him for YOUR money!'

I think they just needed to raise their profiles a bit. Sell a few pictures of a 'second wedding' to some magazines, get a lot of headlines... make yourself 'relevant' again....

He’s just following the money. As rich as Mummy and Daddy are, the PILs are far richer so he’s making his choice quite clear.

I am totally amazed it has lasted that long. Brooklyn’s definitely punching, and if I were her, his limpet-like behaviour towards her, and puppy dog demeanour would’ve given me ‘The Ick’ ages ago. Plus, the conversations must be riveting 🙄 If you’d asked me back in 2022, I’d have said a year, tops.

I feel bit sorry for Brooklyn it’s not his fault he was raised that way with famous parents that sold every detail of their life and are basically a brand

I suspect that the cracks were there even before the wedding. Like most family estrangement, it’s probably a combination of factors rather than just one.

He's known a Hello magazine lifestyle since being born so I guess this is normal for him.

Must be a huge kick in heart for his family. Publically renewing without your family. Ouch.

Victoria Beckham doesn't appear to be very close to David's family so maybe Brooklyn's wife is just doing the same? It's hardly surprising that kids pick up their cues from their families.
