Anyone else appalled and shocked at Dawn French's social media video mocking the reaction to the terror attack in Israel on Oct 6th. What on earth was she thinking ? She comes across as horrible and lacking in any empathy. I feel sorry for the innocent people on both sides of this war, in Palestine and in Israel.

She should stop meddling in things beyond her obviously limited intellect, and stck to whatever it is she does- is she some mediocre actress, rather unkempt, and in need of watching her food intake?

Dawn French was always one of my favourites always always always. I am absolutely devastated by this disgusting display and her apology was piffle .. she panicked and retracted ..
I’ve recently watched and loved The Vicar of Dobley ( before this vile post of hers ) and loved it and even shared some clips with my friend.. The vicar of Dibley is a such a funny and mostly heartwarming show .. pushing kindness as its theme … my god I never imagined in my wildest dreams that Dawn has just shown she’s anything but 💔Have always enjoyed her show .. only had to look at her then “ cheeky “ face and I’d laugh .. but .. No no no … Dawn French .. you have devastated many fans and mostly Jewish people💔😞 Why doesn’t she go to Hamas and show her comedy show to them I’m sure they’d enjoy that .. so much so they won’t let her home ..she’d be treated like he worst .. just like they treat all their women .. she’s poison and she’s shown her allegiance.. send her with Thunberg to Gaza and good riddance .. Yes all these celebs who keep blaming Israel for the plight of the Gazans, here's an idea start mocking and ridiculing hamas the people actually responsible for it all, see how far that gets you. They'd be on a fatwa list or whatever they call it faster than you could say Bob's your Uncle.

She is unfunny and hasn't worked for years but she is a well known face so of course has a platform. She pulled her sneery ill informed post the day after posting it so she said what she wanted to and then withdrew it, but far too late the damage had been done.

Stupid celebs should keep their mouths shut about such horrific and complex situations. If she wants to share her ill informed opinion then next time let's hope she does so without the huffing and immature childish musings.

I agree with you, celebs should stay out of politics. But there’ll be a whole host of celebrities that disagree with us.

Hamas are are bunch of terrorists…but Israel are not showing much compassion either, are they…🤷‍♀️ Israeli forces shot dead + 50 Palestinian people as they queued for flour to make food…I totally understand what DF means when she implies “that this is wrong” in her post…
