What cosmetic procedures have you had done?

Just out of curiosity!
I'll go first. I'm 30.

Botox
Lip filler
Tear trough (this has to be one of my faves)
Nose filler
Composite bonded veneers (no shaving of teeth!)
Labiaplasty
Chin lipo
Gel nails
Individual lashes (no crazy spider lashes)
Tanning moisturiser every 2 weeks
Pedicure every 4.
Hair cut and highlighted every 3 months

Looking at that list I realise it's quite high maintenance. I'm curious as to what other posters have had done. And what has changed your life and can't live without?

Also, no need for the usual lot to come on and fall over themselves to tell us that they've had nothing done. I know it's not for everyone! :)

I'd like stuff done but I'm absolutely terrified of things going wrong. I'm surprised more people aren't put off by that. A woman on my local fb page is offering lip fillers for £70....you'd have to be absolutely mad

£70!?!? Jesus.. I go to a dentist who does mine. All my procedures have been done my medical professionals. I wouldn't ever go to a salon for injectables!

Is this thread only for people who have had something done?

I am nearly 53 and have had nothing done unless you count threading and colouring my roots. Am I allowed to reply?

Huh? Well you seemed to have replied just fine..

I used to have my eyebrows threaded but my eyebrow lady moved away and then I had a couple of disasters so I do them myself now. I had acrylics a couple of times when I was young but they ruined my nails, I had a few individual lashes for my wedding. That's about it. I don't dye my hair yet, I have red hair that has lots of different colours in it and yes there are a few greys now but I tried dye when I was young and hated being a redhead but even expensive salons don't get the range of colours i have naturally so it always looks flat/fake to me. I live in an area where Botox, fillers and treatments are very common especially in young women (Essex), but they all end up looking the same. It's not for me.

I do find it funny though OP you've had a labiaplasty but are scared of a bikini wax!

Well, I was confused, because the title is " What have you had done" but then you say later " Dont reply if you haven't had anything done".

I’ve had a bread reduction, tummy tuck and thigh reduction.

I’ve also had my teeth whitened.

I pain my own toes (gel) every 4 weeks or so.

that’s it.

Bread reduction made me giggle 🤭

Jeezitneverends · 19/12/2024 10:37

@finchyyy i started years ago having a bikini line tidy up and went to full Hollywood gradually, so it wasn’t a shock to the system pain wise. I’ve only ever had one which was really painful, amd that was down to the technique used-obviously I never went back to that practitioner! I’ve been going to the same lazy for about 10 years now and she’s amazing

Hunglikeapolevaulter · 19/12/2024 10:37

Absolutely nothing. I don't even bother going to get my hair cut.
What I do:
Eat realy well, almost no unprocessed food. I don't drink alcohol.
Exercise.
I look after my teeth really well.
Henna my own roots.

I'm really pleased with how I look at 50 and I also like the freedom of not scrutinising myself for little imperfections and spending lots of money and headspace fighting them.

Arraminta · 19/12/2024 10:39

I'm 54.

I've been on Mounjaro jabs since August and lost over 2 stone and now a size 10.

I have Botox twice a year and use a very good but very expensive aesthetic doctor.

I have a gel manicure every 2 weeks and a gel pedicure every 6 weeks.

I have a full leg + Brazilian wax every 6 weeks.

I've had my eyebrows microbladed.

I have composite bonding on my top 6 and have my teeth whitened once a year.

Have a pixie crop which needs cutting every 4 weeks, but have stopped the regular highlights and prefer my natural colour which is an ashy mousey shade.

I have had an extended tummy tuck.

Also had a therapeutic breast reduction and lift (went from a 34G to 34E) but that was due to having early breast cancer.

Every day I take Ancient & Brave collagen and Symprove probiotic.

Cynic17 · 19/12/2024 10:20

None, because they are not necessary.
I'm nearly 60. I look nearly 60. And that's absolutely fine.

I’m 54 and if I looked 54 I’d be happy with that, but due to loose skin I feel I look 64

Yes the lack of regulation for it is really bad imo.

Goinghome20 · 19/12/2024 10:41

Had teeth whitened.
Hair cut and coloured eveey 6 to 7 weeks.
Monthly shiatsu massage.
Daily yoga for 28 years.

Thats it.

I hate it too and want it all gone but I've never had the guts to have it waxed! Presumably it's okay for you now but did your first wax hurt as much as is said?

I've been waxed for 20+ years so barely have any growth nowadays. But for your first time make sure you go to a salon that specializes in intimate waxing and uses a top quality hot wax (Perron Rigot is the industry gold standard). It shouldn't feel anything more than uncomfortable, definitely not painful.

Never let anyone use strip wax on your bikini.

StrongbutTired00 · 19/12/2024 10:48

I’m 36, I colour my own hair (I’m pink at the mo) I get Botox and lip filler twice a year, I’ve had nose and chin filler in the past. I have gel nails and toes at all times and I use the sunbeds / fake tan. I used to get lashes done but stopped this and just wear strip lashes when I need to look glam.

Randomname83738 · 19/12/2024 10:54

I’ve had Invisalign and teeth whitening which for me has made SUCH a difference.
ive previously had natural lash extensions but I didn’t really like the feeling of them on my lash line. I get an LVL every couple of months and brow tint and wax. Since having my son and working from home full time, I put much less effort into my appearance, I just don’t have the energy. But I miss putting on my make up and picking nice clothes for work every morning. My son still (almost 3!!!) doesn’t sleep through the night so I need something to make me look less knackered!!! Any suggestions welcome 🤣 I also need to sort my hair out as it doesn’t reallly have a “style”, it’s just longish, dyed dark brown. I need a really low maintenance style as I basically only have time to wash and dry it 🤣🤣

Pic of my post-Invisalign teeth because it’s basically the best money I’ve ever
spent on something for myself

79pinkballoons · 19/12/2024 10:59

Botox
Teeth whitening
Hair cut and highlight every 12 weeks
Used to have a Hollywood wax every 6 weeks but have lasered now so don't have to worry about it
Nails occasionally
Eyebrows waxed and tinted

I'm 39

Doggymummar · 19/12/2024 11:03

I'm 55 and this year has been an exception in that I had all my old mercury fillings swapped out for white composite at the price of a small car.

I have a weave as menopause trashed my hair and have lost 60lbs so my face needed some filler. Marionette, naso labial and tear troughs.

I have dipping nails SNS every month and two or three pedicures a year

I had a trim last week

DecayingRelic · 19/12/2024 11:08

I am on old fogey, never had anything done. Most of these procedures just make the person look worse in my view, I know a naturally pretty girl who has ruined herself with fillers, looks like a clown with boob implants and an overworked gym body, really masculine looking.

I was just looking at Simone Ashley yesterday thinking what a naturally beautiful woman she is, no tattoos, fillers, implant, BBL etc

I have never seen anyone with procedures look better

Comedycook · 19/12/2024 11:13

I disagree with this...you probably notice the ott work some people have had done. But very subtle, really well done procedures you may not notice at all... except for thinking someone looks good overall. It's like when people say fake tan always looks awful and orange. That's because you're only noticing the badly done tans. The really good ones won't scream fake tan...and you wouldn't necessarily realise it's fake.

I know a woman who has Botox and lip fillers...very very well done and subtle. You think she's looks great for her age rather than thinking, wow, she's had a lot of work done.

Well the labiaplasty was under GA so I was blissfully unaware. For some reason I've always been scared by bikini wax. But I have had lip filler and that's very painful!

I'll do it in the new year I think

Nothing yet apart from at home laser hair removal, but I’m hoping to get a breast reduction when I save up enough and next year I’m hoping to get polynucleotide injections to reduce scarring I have on my face.

That's nice.

However I can assure you I look better now than when I did post chemo at 23, with no teeth enamel, saggy wrinkly lips, a huge chin due to steroids and chemo. The list goes on.

I look much better now.

Those injections are meant to be amazing! They're the sperm injections aren't they?

None!

It's for chavs and insecure people.
