How many houses have you lived in?

We were discussing my brothers new house this weekend, he is in his 50's and is just about to move into his 17th house, he has lived in a few different countries on 4 different continents.

By contrast my sister who is 60 has lived in 2, our childhood home and the one she bought with her DH when they married.

I'm the oldest and have lived in 8 houses but all within 30 miles of each other.

My brother has moved around for work and has certainly had more life adventures than me or my sister.

Just being nosey wondering how far others have moved from home, how many times and has it enhanced your life?

Three childhood homes (though one for the vast majority of childhood).

Three student accommodations.

Two flats with DH before we married.

One house with DH now we are married.

So 6 or 9 depending on whether you count the student accommodation.

I'm 60 and lived in 12 different houses/flats including student accommodation.
Current flat is the longest I've lived anywhere - 20 years.

In my 60s now so over many years lived in ...

Now very settled in my forever home ❤

In my 40's and I'm on 9 although some didn't feel like "home" (uni places).

Childhood home, halls of residence, 3 shared houses, flat on my own, rented with now DH, first house together and then current house. (hopefully last until retirement!!)

5 flats/houses in total. 2 childhood and 3 adult. I lived at home as a student so not even any student accommodation.

I'm in my 50s and I've not done moving yet...probably got 2 more in me, before I hang up my sellotape machine and finally recycle the packing boxes 📦🤷‍♀️🤣

I have a pattern of pairs. 2 growing up. 2 while in Uni. 2 for work before I got married. And 2 since I got married.

I'm living in our current house the longest of any, 21 years now.
