How many houses have you lived in?

We were discussing my brothers new house this weekend, he is in his 50's and is just about to move into his 17th house, he has lived in a few different countries on 4 different continents.

By contrast my sister who is 60 has lived in 2, our childhood home and the one she bought with her DH when they married.

I'm the oldest and have lived in 8 houses but all within 30 miles of each other.

My brother has moved around for work and has certainly had more life adventures than me or my sister.

Just being nosey wondering how far others have moved from home, how many times and has it enhanced your life?

I am in my 30s.
I lived in 4 in England, 6 in New Zealand, 3 in Hong Kong, 3 in Singapore, 7 in Japan.

Oh @MRSBoredsome that’s a very busy schedule late or early 30’s?

16. I'm 56.

I'm 28 and have lived in 6

4 with my parents and 2 with DP.

7 including student accommodation

12 for me, I’m early 30s. Don’t plan to move again though until the kids leave home!

13. And I'm age 40. We moved a few times when I was a child due to my dad's job, then every year as a student and renter. And then I have owned 3 places of my own since the age of 25. Still got a mega mortgage though!

13 from birth. A couple of those were just a few months.

One was a room rented from a friend, one a shared flat, one a temporary rental. Others owned or with parents. Am 42.

lived in my current house for 17 years now though

I lived in my childhood house until I was 15 then moved to Wales. Flip flopped between student flats and houses inLuton and parents moved 3 times more.

then back to wales where I lived in 4 different homes now im here and I don’t intend to move again out of choice!

21 different homes ( although one of them twice so 22???), 17 different villages/ towns/ cities, 5 different countries, 2 different continents.

Have never lived anywhere longer than 5 years... approaching 5 years in current house and feel pretty settled though... but will probably need to downsize when kids have moved out to free equity to fund retirement...
