Don't get me started on Cates.

Selous in SW Bedfordshire is 'sympathetic to teachers' apparently. He isn't my MP so no idea if he is otherwise OK.

I, too, am generally OK with Nokes but she still votes in line with some God awful stuff.

She’s voted in line with some awful stuff and against some decent stuff I thought she’d support on the basis ‘we can’t let Labour take control of the order paper.’

Might as well get rid of opposition days. Although really labour needs to get better prepared for them.

It may have been better to avoid standing in front of this backdrop.

Rees mogg is trying to make out that they wouldn't have lost all those seats in the local elections were it not for the added ID requirement.
He's attempting a Trump maneuver....trying to make out that the election was stolen from the rightful winners and thereby stirring up the Tory base to go and storm parliament a la 'Jan 6th' in the US

pointythings · 15/05/2023 18:27

@Thesharkradar well, he can't have it both ways. It was his mob that brought in the ID requirement in order to scupper the opposition. The word we are looking for here is 'schadenfreude'.

dontcallmelen · 15/05/2023 18:33

Thanks for new thread Duncin as ever thank you all contributors.
I just wish someone would make it stop, each day is seemingly more terrifying than the last, with these absolute knobs in government.
unfortunately I can only think of a huge list of total gobshite conservatives MPs.

Braverman at it again.

Opinions of us as a country in the rest of the world must be in the gutter

The Germans mucked up? Wow, that's a take.

Correct, if the Nazis had just done National Conservatism correctly then Germany would now be the powerhouse of Europe and not riddled with socialists like But Jeremy Corbyn.

newnamethanks · 16/05/2023 07:58

My grandfather and uncles attended gatherings like this in the 1930s with the purpose of disrupting them as they could see what the attendees were and where things were heading if the 'National' frothers got their mitts on power. If they could see what the Tory party has become they'd be out there getting beaten by the police and thrown out of meetings all over again. All that appears to be missing this time round is a uniformed, paid for and partisan goon squad made up of supporters proud to 'protect' such as Braverman and her friends. Utterly shameful, I dont know how she can look herself in the face.

RafaistheKingofClay · 16/05/2023 08:22

Daniel Kaczynski was heavily criticised 3 years ago for attending the Nat con conference in Rome. 3 years is all it’s taken to get from there to organising our own with past and present cabinet members presenting at it. Where the hell is the PM?

Don’t answer. He’s probably off counting his millions and trying to work out how much more money he can screw out of the country over the next 18 months.

Whilst donating three quarters of a million pounds to the Conservatives. I wonder why.

Holding parties for his MPs in the hope they don't gang up on him (too late).

RafaistheKingofClay · 16/05/2023 08:29

It his a bit late their all busy launching their leadership bids at NatCon.

That's awful. Wtf has this country come to? I'm ashamed of of our "government".

Soozikinzii · 16/05/2023 08:42

I remember thinking to myself on the local voting day I wonder if all the ID thing will exclude alot of those kind of insular brexit voters who don't travel much and so don't have a passport and vote Tory . Looks like I was right .Didn't take a genius to work that out really did it ? It shows that the JRM type don't understand ordinary voters one bit . What a lemon ! He's that sharp he's cut himself springs to mind.

IClaudine · 16/05/2023 08:42

Braverman wants to be PM, doesn't she? It should be funny, but it is terrifying. Her speech made my skin crawl.

newnamethanks · 16/05/2023 08:51

Sunak's otherwise engaged building barricades, this bunch of absolute nutters will turf him out as soon as they can. PM Sue Ellen? PM Priti? Sickening.

DuncinToffee · 16/05/2023 08:54

I have now also seen the videos of speeches by Kruger and miss Snuffy Shock

But here is a squirrel, votes for EU citizens
