Another celeb surrogacy I'm presuming !

all very handmaids tale. Where are the birth mothers?

Blindsandcurtains · 25/01/2023 08:15

It's well documented that she used a surrogate. She's 41. What's the point of your post?

VogueDarling · 25/01/2023 08:15

100% surrogate

Soubriquet · 25/01/2023 08:16

Well yes. It’s been in the news that the baby was born via surrogacy

Ahh, the article I read never stated it...
Even though it was pretty obvious as she was on stage with Miley Cyrus New Year's Eve and no bump to be seen

My point is I don't get why so many celebs use surrogates unless there is a medical need.

41 isn't that old to carry a baby is it ? Plenty of women go through ivf at this age

OP posts:
Curlalina · 25/01/2023 08:21

I read that Paris had ivf during the pandemic so I can only assume that it didn't work for her.

Happygone · 25/01/2023 08:23

She's had fertility issues for years, according to her mum.

And if that is the case then I'm sorry to hear that. It just feels like alot of Celebs use a surrogate because it's easier for them

As somebody who had had to go through ivf myself I do have alot of sympathy if that's the case

Because they can afford to outsource it.

VaddaABeetch · 25/01/2023 08:26

Wombs for rent. Rich women exploiting poor woman . Babies as a commodity.

bathtublove · 25/01/2023 08:27

What I read mentions nothing about fertility issues etc so I stand corrected.

Off the top of my head I can think of many celebrities who've suddenly welcomed a baby, rebel Wilson, amber heard, khloe kardashian so it seemed like yet another had taken that option !

How do you know there wasn't a medical heed?

Why should an article about her becoming a mum need to mention the whys and how that came about?

It is literally nobody's business!!

Everything that's wrong with society - people thinking they have a right to know every detail about other peoples lives.

HikingHairDontCare · 25/01/2023 08:32

I think surrogacy is wrong regardless of the reasons. There’s never a reason good enough to rent a womb/buy a baby. Awful practice that should be banned everywhere like it is in many countries already.

No doubt there will be all sorts of tales to follow about how someone was a surrogate for their sister or something and the child is really happy, how the child wasn’t bought. 🙄 It’s still fucked up. Creating a child with the intention of taking it from their mother, the woman that carried them, isn’t ever about the child. Surrogacy is never about the child and always about want, want, want from adults.

BreviloquentBastard · 25/01/2023 08:32

What do you get out of bitching and speculating about the fertility of a woman you've never met, exactly?

HikingHairDontCare · 25/01/2023 08:34

Happygone · 25/01/2023 08:23

She's had fertility issues for years, according to her mum.

And that’s sad, if she wanted a child. Still no reason to commission a baby.

Beefcurtains79 · 25/01/2023 08:34

Another rich woman renting a poor women’s body.
Its amazing the amount of celebs who suddenly have fertility problems and can’t carry their own child isn’t it?

Ladyfird · 25/01/2023 08:37

It's sad that a woman who has been brave in speaking out about abuse has used a surrogate.

PuttingDownRoots · 25/01/2023 08:37

The ethics of surrogacy are everyone's business. Its a very exploitive industry

A womans fertility issues are their own private business

MrNook · 25/01/2023 08:38

Sick of rich people renting out women's wombs because they can throw money at them.

VaddaABeetch · 25/01/2023 08:41

There is never a medical need for surrogacy.

Nobody has a right to a child.

GoingOnce · 25/01/2023 08:48

Agree with this ⬆️ There is never a need for surrogacy. Having a baby is not a human right and is never morally acceptable.

Women can be complicit in their own abuse and the furthering of a demeaning commodifying attitude towards other women .

To be honest you kind of have to expect questions etc when you're in the public eye !! I think you say goodbye to your privacy when you are in the limelight. I'm not saying that its right or okay, but aspects of your life are going to rouse interest!
