What do you love so much that you can't understand why others don't?

I hope that the thread title makes some sense.

I was having a chat about this with a friend who is a camping fanatic and who is genuinely puzzled as to why other people e.g me despise it. She's that passionate about it.

I have various interests that I enjoy but I can generally see why they don't appeal to some others but it made me wonder what do you love you so much that you can't understand why others don't share your passion?

I love genealogy and family/social history. I can spend hours searching through documents and DNA results.

I have a friend who is just as obsessed as me but we have a mutual friend who says she is only interested in living people, not dead.ones.

I can't bear having to search all the random rails in others shop's now but people keep saying it's like a jumble sale?? Other shops seem like a jumble sale to me.

I don’t have a single friend or family member who runs and they think I’m crazy. I once joined a running club and loved sharing this joy with people but then I moved and my area doesn’t have a convenient running club for me. .

Being a housewife (although I’m not one anymore but wish I was).

So many people say they get bored at home. I love being at home and never have enough time to get everything done so could never be bored

Same. Find it absolutely fascinating and don't understand why so few people are really into it. I've unravelled some really interesting stuff.
