What do you love so much that you can't understand why others don't?

I hope that the thread title makes some sense.

I was having a chat about this with a friend who is a camping fanatic and who is genuinely puzzled as to why other people e.g me despise it. She's that passionate about it.

I have various interests that I enjoy but I can generally see why they don't appeal to some others but it made me wonder what do you love you so much that you can't understand why others don't share your passion?

Music. I listen to music all day long.

Marmite.

Snow.

Going to the theatre/ballet/opera - a rare treat for me and if I had more money this is what I'd spend it on.

Ditto on alone time. Had the following baffling conversation with MIL:

Me: I'm so glad lockdown is over and husband is going to football again so I can get some alone time in the house.
MIL: Me too! You should come over during the matches!

Umm... We wouldn't be alone then?

Sobriety

I did not have a problem with alcohol, but giving it up altogether has brought me some much needed and improved quality of sleep, better skin, weight loss, no headaches, etc. Tbh, I'd rather eat my calories than drink them.
