How much did you send them? Or was it deducted from your benefits / salary ?

If you mean taxpayers money you didn't pay anymore than usual (if you pay any at all)

This isn't my kind of thing, but I think everyone has a right to feel proud of where they come from and this was a good display for the world stage.

Probably not. Yet other countries seem to much better than at providing healthcare, good public transport, electing decent leaders etc. We are crap at those things.

My son was there, I sounded like a right pearl clutcher too when I suggested he didn't film the coffin going past!

Tax payers paid for the whole thiong. Yes not that much each, but overall a lot! And the principle of paying for a billionaires funeral when we can't be arsed keeping our less well off alive with things like heating makes me ashamed to be British
