What's suddenly not in shops near you?

I've been trying to buy cream of tartar for all of September. None in Coop or Tesco in three towns. A friend bought the only tub on the shelves of an upmarket foodie shop further afield today. She lent me it so I could take what I needed for scones promised for a village event, but she wanted it back. There's bicarb soda and baking powder - why no cream of tartar?

Flowers for weeks now. So well before HRH dying could account for them. This is multiple supermarkets and a wholesaler. I miss them.

Can't get large bottles of Oasis since about Easter! Still an empty shelf in Tesco.

Plain, unfragranced soap.

Both Sainsburys and Aldi here have plenty of soya milk. Aldi's is 55p and Sainsburys was £1.05 today.
Haven't looked in any other supermarkets

Almost the whole chicken section in Sainsbury's the other day was completely empty. No breast or thighs, no breaded chicken, no whole chickens, just a few packs of organic corn-fed stuff. They had those covers down over the area. I thought maybe the fridges were broken but overheard a staff member tell someone else they'd had no chicken in for days.

Chocolate raisins have been missing from my local supermarket shelf for over a month, have had to resort to buying from home bargains! Which actually cost more!

I havent been able to buy the potato starch liners for my food waste caddy for at least a month. Sainsburys also sell paper caddy liners, but they dont fit properly, allowing food scraps to fall down the side, and they leak and allow a puddle of bin juice to form at the bottom of the caddy 🤢 First world problem, but I have to clean out the food waste caddy every time I change the bag, which is annoying.

All fine here. Today we got a Tesco delivery with no missing items or subs for the first time in a while.

I don't live in the UK. Came back last week and was staggered at the amount of empty shelves and the spreading out of available produce.

Honestly this is not happening in Europe. I can only assume brexit issues
