I've been trying to buy cream of tartar for all of September. None in Coop or Tesco in three towns. A friend bought the only tub on the shelves of an upmarket foodie shop further afield today. She lent me it so I could take what I needed for scones promised for a village event, but she wanted it back. There's bicarb soda and baking powder - why no cream of tartar?

No deodorant in lidl but food was all fine, even crisps

I never even knew they sold big bottles of Oasis in the UK! Always get them for the DC in France and they wanted to know why we can't get them at home. They had plenty in France last month.

I find the roll on very strong for my skin, I started getting a rash, but it works.
‘I buy the one I call ‘gel’, you twist the wheel at the bottom for it to come up. It’s a solid stick.
If you can’t get the women’s version, the men’s blue one is fine.
Their spray deodorant is good too.

The big 1.5L bottles of Oasis have been discontinued, sadly. We've been searching for them for over 6 months. Tesco and occasionally Home Bargains used to stock them but Tesco have confirmed that they are no more 😭

There’s always one! What’s wrong with buying apple sauce, or do you make all your own jam, bake all your own bread, make all your own peanut butter, etc? (I could go on)!

Alpro unsweetened soy milk, there’s been a big gap in all three Tesco Metro’s I use for weeks. Yesterday I noticed they seemed to have given up and removed the label from the shelf entirely

And I depend on Mitchum as its so much better than the others!! 😢
